I wish they’d redo Blade (1996) but with the Muppets. I think it would be so much better. You could keep it kid-friendly by having the vampires turn into bats instead of ash, but the thought of Kermit saying “some motherfuckers always trying to ice-skate uphill” would be so funny.

The Lord of the Rings, but Gandalf is the only human actor and everyone else are Muppets.
The inspiration for the chart was actually another thread about exactly this. Here's the roster I suggested:

The Matrix. John Wick. Dune. Get the original directors on board for the remakes. The possibilities are endless.
Miss Piggy has the range to star in all 3. And with Keanu's blessing, I bet.

Imagine. Dune. But instead of a worm, an giant elongated Cookie Monster. Or the Matrix, when Kermit meets the Architect for the first time and instead is the Big Yellow Bird. Also every Machine should have Gonzos face.

Plugging "The Muppets Christmas Carol" as the most accurate version of the book. Hands-down, the Muppets actually make some quality content.
It's the second-best version of A Christmas Carol, after the Blackadder version.

This needs to be widely distributed in Hollywood immediately.
Makes me glad they wrapped up Farscape even if it was rushed and they screwed up Pilot's voice.
The thing is, it's the same voice actor, but they didn't use the usual filter.
They lost the settings, which happens I guess, but it's like they didn't even compare to get it close. It sounds like Pilot is part Kermit.
But it's a minor gripe really, I'm glad we got something.. even if it had John yelling at Rygel for something he literally never said.
As soon as The Muppets and Lucasfilm were both owned by Disney, my friends and I spent a lot of time taking about how a Muppet Star Wars just makes sense.
Now, it's a bit of a crowded space, with Blue Harvest and Space Balls already doing a lot of parody work in this area, but I think there's still room. The only problem is that I think the normal formula would have Luke be played by a human and everyone else be Muppets, but Kermit feels like he'd be a great Luke. So you'd need one of the other key roles to be human to balance it out.
I think we'd need a human Yoda too. Just an any guy.
For a moment I thought this was a gaming community for some unholy reason, and I immediately imagined a Skyrim remake with Muppets
I feel like you could reskin characters in so many games and make them muppets. That’d be a great mod.

Are Muppets good or is this more of a nostalgia thing for people?
I've never seen Muppets. I don't remember it airing on our national TV when I was a child. It's not much of a thing in my social circles either.
I rarely see the Muppets but they were a cultural cornerstone for the 90s-00s. My older sisters can name everyone while I can name Kermit, Miss Piggy, Bert and Ernie, and cookie monster (use to be my favorite Friendly's sundae). Wait is Elmo and yellow bird also muppets?

I like the chaotic energy they bring on screen.
Also not officially Muppets shows, but look at Farscape and Labyrinth. Chef d'oeuvre!
Personally, I think they're good. Obviously it's subjective, but I think there's a good reason that they've withstood the test of time.
The brand of humor is timeless. The absurdity of a world where a pig and a frog can take on human roles without comment is just as funny now as it was 40 years ago. The overall style of humor is somewhat dry but still accessible.
It's not for everyone, but it's for a lot of people.
