“host of neurological issues this summer that we believe stem from…chronic inflammatory response syndrome, due to decades of mold exposure.”

Damn, Peterson and Rowling? Go gettem BMF! rat-salute-2

[–] huf@hexbear.net 39 points 2 months ago (1 children)

how does a rich person in fucking toronto breathe so much mold?

[–] corgiwithalaptop@hexbear.net 43 points 2 months ago (3 children)

He didn't clean his room, duh

[–] SerialExperimentsGay@hexbear.net 26 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Apparently he cleaned out his dad's moldy basement. So room cleaning is literally what got him in the hospital.

Also, he's on an all-meat diet which drastically increases inflammatory immune responses and his lungs have been in bad shape ever since he began benzo withdrawal, he caught pneumonia early on in that process. That pre-existing lung damage is supposedly what led to him suffering hypoxic brain damage later on when he did the artificial coma thing to quit benzos cold turkey. So anamnestically, he's at a fairly huge risk to begin with. Not to mention that his medical history most likely includes countless covid infections at this point. Oh, and it wouldn't surprise me if he actively refused to wear a respirator during the basement cleaning thingy, too, because of ideological reasons.

True MAHA hours for that guy.

(cw for brain worms in the comments) Jordan Peterson: "I'm not convinced that the evidence that masks work is scientifically credible.”

Between him and Kirk's 'I think shooting deaths are an acceptable loss for keeping the Second Amendment', we have one hell of a competition for the 'Most Wrong Man' award cropping up in just the last few weeks

[–] segfault11@hexbear.net 16 points 2 months ago

fell for it for once and for all award

[–] blunder@hexbear.net 15 points 2 months ago (1 children)

you can't say they don't live by their beliefs

[–] SerialExperimentsGay@hexbear.net 6 points 2 months ago

only as long as they aren't killed by them

[–] NephewAlphaBravo@hexbear.net 6 points 2 months ago (1 children)

it's still so hard to top herman cain dying of covid and then continuing to tweet about how covid is fake

[–] SacredExcrement@hexbear.net 7 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

His account tweeting that "It looks like the virus is not as deadly as the mainstream media first made it out to be" in August 2020 after he died of it in July 2020 was a classic

We need something more than a lifetime achievement award in being wrong for that

[–] NephewAlphaBravo@hexbear.net 4 points 2 months ago

[–] IvarK@hexbear.net 1 points 2 months ago

She said the condition triggered a series of “neurological symptoms” that worsened after Peterson cleaned out his late father’s basement earlier this year. “We don’t have a better explanation for his neurological symptoms at the moment other than spiritual attacks,” she said.

The dark spirits of the father's underworld have been unleashed.

[–] Red_October@hexbear.net 15 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Huh. I don’t know who this guy is and clicked on this cause I misread it as Jordan Peterson at first. But I’ve actually met two people independently from each other who’ve both told me that exact same thing happened to them. One of them was my manager at work who said she felt like she got possessed after burning a box of old stuff while cleaning out her father’s attic after he died. She said she couldn’t touch psychedelics, even weed, after that or it would “come back.”

So yeah dude coulda gotten got by a demon I guess.

[–] Red_October@hexbear.net 9 points 2 months ago

[–] LeeeroooyJeeenkiiins@hexbear.net 6 points 2 months ago

One of them was my manager at work who said she felt like she got possessed after burning a box of old stuff while cleaning out her father’s attic after he died

Wow do you think she had some kind of emotional reaction at both the reminder of the inevitability of mortality, her own future death, as well as a complex set of emotions arising from burning things that weren't hers and inevitably would remind her of her father and her loss??

nope it's gotta be demons, yeeeeup

[–] ShinkanTrain@lemmy.ml 10 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Heck yeah Etsy witches are on a roll

[–] NephewAlphaBravo@hexbear.net 6 points 2 months ago

you've just got mold spores in your brain brother, i assume we know how to fix that if you'll just go to a regular fucking hospital

[–] axont@hexbear.net 31 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

I had a moment during his stupid jubilee debate where he was basically arguing that atheists actually believe in God if you define God as the belief that some things are good

And I realized this guy doesn't believe in anything other than making people annoyed at him. He also said at one point he would never lie, even if he were hiding Jews in the Holocaust, then said even being in that situation means you screwed up your entire life. Why do guys like this exist

[–] GalaxyBrain@hexbear.net 7 points 2 months ago

He'd be hiding them from the allies

[–] BelieveRevolt@hexbear.net 25 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

lol, his daughter is out there crying who-did-this, she was the one who got him on the carnivore diet.

[–] SorosFootSoldier@hexbear.net 24 points 2 months ago

We need to raise his raw beef levels, stat

[–] godlessworm@hexbear.net 23 points 2 months ago

wait why is he getting help? i thought the individual should only rely on themselves because the collective is detrimental to the individual

surely he should be able to individually solve any issues he may be having. or is he simply too weak willed?

wow you rely on the collective knowledge of healthcare workers? sounds woke.

[–] darkmode@hexbear.net 20 points 2 months ago

him and bolsanaro have the real strain of havana syndrome

[–] vegeta1@hexbear.net 19 points 2 months ago (1 children)

He was attacked by the great dragon of feminine motherhood or something and cried so hard his eyes fell out. Sad but true.
