Democratic lawmakers forced other “guardrails” into the bill, like funding for oversight of detention facilities and mandatory body cameras for ICE agents.
- If they're not going to do anything about wrongdoing, what the hell is the point of oversight? Besides maybe providing funding ICE can reappropriate for even worse things
- They're already killing and abducting people on camera, without any repercussions. Body cameras aren't going to stop shit unless the people wearing them fear punishment for illegal actions
"Can't even keep it straight when it's written down for him" is not the rebuttal she seems to think it is...
I feel like this comic could be somewhat redeemed with a fourth panel (the last rock is the USA rock)
