His janky website social buttons don't do anything either and there's a couple of emails to some guides while noting many times the prices of hotels in Pissreal are nortoriuously expensive.

I can't stomach the video, but I looked into the restaurants. He links to six instagram accounts that purportedly belong to restaurants in the Gaza strip.
I think the basic situation is that, although some people do still have money in Gaza, and some restaurants do still manage to sell food to them (at least as of a few weeks ago), limited supply and high demand have driven up prices beyond what many can afford, especially those who fled the hot zones with only what they could carry. This is why crowds of people are dodging gunfire to reach aid boxes supplied by enemy soldiers.
