A human being's individual choices about what we do with our own bodies is not up for debate, and doesn't require any explanation. It's creepy to be so obsessed with it and it really shows the sexual pathology of politics theory. It is a derailment of the actual material goals of leftist movements, because "eeeww, a trans!". Like, if suddenly trans people didn't exist, how would his life be any different? It wouldn't, and any suggestion to the contrary by them is an admission of fabricating things because they're plane bigoted.

A rare W for Trotsky: "if you cannot convince a fascist, acquaint his head with the pavement".

Serious post here, what are your predictions? Do the US sign on for a subscription to Hitler or Hitler+? What makes you believe this?

My take: Harris eeks out a victory, based on the vibes I get. She may flip NC too. I think that second part because the overall trend of polling has had her slowly increasing on average there. AZ is flipping back to Trump this go around.

Second possibility I see is that the electoral college shenanigans the GOP is angling for in NE actually results in the first ever tie. Supreme court gives it to Trump even though he loses the popular vote. Libs say "ah well, never the less".

Either way, I think there's going to be hog riots in MI, PA, and NC if it flips.

During what was one of the worst times in my life, I took a solo vacation to Asheville and Chimney Rock. The people there were some of the most lovely and inviting people I'd ever met. Literally the kindness of strangers and the beauty of that place healed my soul to make it through. It breaks my heart to see that town destroyed.

That's what I'm saying, they're irrational.

Wouldn't that require the Pentagon to be full of rational actors?

They always did have this air of elitism.

I'm really sorry this has been happening to you. Could you give us a brief rundown of who these people are and what they've been doing to you?

Yeah, I'm just gonna disassociate for a bit. blob-no-thoughts

Turns out the communism was the friends we made along the way!

We tend to do things alone when we feel secure in ourselves and enjoy our own company. That's going to be highly individualistic, but there's going to be some cultural pieces too, COVID lockdowns threw a lot of people off. I'm an old, and I go grocery shopping by myself a lot of times so my partner and I don't have to make a whole big thing about it. But being l before I got married and at times since, I'll go and do social things alone, it can be intimidating and or feel like a power move. It can be a nice mix up for routine life things, give it a try! I think it comes more with age for a lot of people, you've been around long enough to stop caring what other people might think.

It aired March 4, 2001.

spoilerA plane gets hacked by gov g-men and remote controlled to fly into one of the twin towers. They narrowly avoid it and clip an antenna on the roof.
How the fuck? I'm stunned! Also, why is this not a regular part of 9/11 memes?

I'm ready to bounce. As individuals we're not going to tip the scales one way or another. If we can retreat/regroup to places where it's safer to organize, there's nothing wrong with that. Revolutionaries throughout history have gone into exile. An actual revolution will take people who've left and exert pressure from outside, and those that stay to exert pressure within. Do what suits your abilities and means.

Easiest broad net material analysis right here. There's all kinds of more nuanced bits, but this is the core.

I want to immigrate to someplace that's not a shit hole teetering on the brink. The culture is so fucking violent and geared towards crushing the human spirit, it really is a blight. Is there any place in the world that's halfway decent and isn't infected with burger brain disease? Especially if it's easy for an angloid simpleton such as myself to assimilate.

Edit: also trans friendly! Or at least not a danger zone like half the US.

Fedora, it fucking slaps and worked right out of the box. I'm using it for work and play on my main rig! I dual boot for some very specific hardware things that are not normal, but other than that it's been seamless! When I booted into Windows 10 again, they auto installed copilot... Glad to be done with this crap.

Doesn't matter who the VP pick is, the big wet boi is cooked.

Trump's followers will do some terrorism like they usually do, but the majority of them will become disenfranchised and go the way of the tea party - still present, still a pain in the ass, but ineffectual. They will devote their time to Trump's new talk show and he will sell them Trump hairy balls strong man supplements and other scams.

American empire will continue to expand, nothing will fundamentally change. Blue MAGA is the new order.

I can't go into much detail, but I know a lot of people with medical problems who aren't being seen by doctors in the US. Time and again I see people who have what I know to be fairly routinely urgent medical concerns that do get told by the ER that they have to wait for a specialist... 6+ months out. I'm sorry, but an infection doesn't wait 6+ months for you to put them on some basic antibiotics that a PA or I think even some nurse practitioners can prescribe in certain jurisdictions.

I remember when I was in the military (circa 2008), I had a colleague who told me his mother died on the sidewalk outside an ER because they couldn't afford any insurance and the hospital refused to see her. I didn't believe it, I though that it couldn't possibly be a thing in the US. But I keep seeing parallel issues time and again, but now it's for basic things and not because of insurance, but providers and networks are so fucked up that people must be dying from these things.

I know someone who worked in billing and claims for medical insurance too. They share horror stories about double leg amputees being denied a wheelchair...

Hope I don't get an infected cut or something, even with my decent insurance who the hell knows at this point!

I love soulful acoustic indie music, especially in minor tones. But I can never seem to find artists like this who are trans and sing about our experiences. I don't get the whole transfem screeching noises punk stuff, doesn't quite click with me.

Anyway, does anyone have some recommendations? Thanks! ❤️
