At the very least they're taking each other off the market for the rest of us

And not to be plastered for 30 days like the name implies.
Also dating during the first stages of recovery is widely discouraged. The point is to focus on yourself and feel good about yourself, not dump all your energy and focus into a new relationship.
The court has sentenced you to a month long bender. May Bacchus have mercy on your liver.
Pretty sure given Bacchus is over both alcohol and madness, he's going to preside over their entire relationship. Fertility too, so they may want to be extra careful with protection.
Fortunately for them I'm pretty sure he's just fertility as in fucking, not fertility as in reproducing. They just have to keep an eye out to stop Hera, Aphrodite, or Demeter from catching on to fhdm

I knew a guy who met one of his wives while locked up in county jail.

By comparison, I know of a couple (met their kid), who had divorced and remarried each other so many times (often but not always with another marriage in between) that the last time they had to go to a different state because my state refused to do it yet again. Apparently the state will let you get married and divorced as many times as you'd like, but only so many times with the same partner.
That sounds like a supreme waste of money

Okay so yes it's green text but...
I know people who work at inpatient acute facilities and they are constantly having to cockblock people to prevent truly horrible things from happening (think anorexia dating borderline or NPD + NPD)
So while this particular story may not have happened, this general story happens daily.
