My favorite part is how when conservatives get called out on this, their response is always the same: "yeah the image/video is fake but this sort of thing really happens!!!" If it actually happened, then they wouldn't have to generate fake examples of it.

I'm on a phone so maybe on a bigger screen it's more obvious. The brick, the flag. The books are- serviceable. Blurry and indistinct. I'm sure the focus is wrong or something. But overall this is much closer. The future is going to be quite bad

Yeah AI has gotten much better, even consumer models like z image or qwen can make photoreal people with no distorted limbs or hands.
Yeah, I had to zoom in. I didn't even notice it was AI at first. I don't have the mental energy to do this with every freaking picture or video I see nowadays, but I guess I gotta.
