If my extremely rough estimates are correct that's about 20% of the average annual salary in China. Based on average salary, a similar bonus in the US would be about $13k.

I mean, even if you just evenly divide $26mil/7000 employees, that's still like a $3800 bonus per employee - which is like 5-6x higher than any bonus I've ever received from my employer despite working there over a decade agony-shivering

it's not only more, but worth more, considering that most will own a home it won't instantly disappear into rent

This made me think, what is it in PPP? Well, the Implied PPP conversion rate for China is 3.37 in 2026. So 1/3.37 = 0.29…

The bonus in yuan seems to be 180 000 000, so ¥180000000/0.29… = $53 412 462

$53412462/7000 = $7630.

This may not be the correct thing to do for some reason, if someone knows do point out why.

okay so what if the Chinese government just acquires every privately owned company and then mandates they do the same with all of their profits

that wouldn't be hitting the communism button but it would be like turning a big dial labeled socialism while looking back at the audience like a contestant on the price is right

Unironically gangster-spongebob Employee owned

and this is just a little taste of market socialism now imagine if they did it on their entire economy

also i have been able to convince every human i have direct contact with, left right whatever that we should do a cooperative economy/market socialist system. it's the easiest way to spread communist concepts because it's still a market economy and there is this whole empowerment/every person a small business/let's all get rich angle to it. personally i'd rather have a centrally planned economy using expert systems/AI/whatever but i'll take what i can get

i pine for a day when market socialism is considered the "far right" ideology

I get 10% profit sharing and it's like $2-3k every quarter before taxes. Those 7000 workers need to pump up those numbers

Rest assured that I'm sure the corporate goons are trying to figure out a way to take away the profit sharing just like they took away the ESOP
