Who's releasing these? Why so slow? Doesn't trump control what's released?

[–] JasonDJ@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 day ago

Trump releasing executive order legalizing CSAM in 3...2...

[–] Suavevillain@lemmy.world 18 points 2 days ago (2 children)

One of the most interesting things about Trump supporters is he did nothing to earn the level of devotion people have for him.

Even with the emails and his own actions withholding SNAP his cultists are still hanging on. The end result of his run will be enriching himself and billionaires.

[–] AnarchistArtificer@slrpnk.net 12 points 2 days ago

The one bit of credit that I can give him is that he's good at making people feel seen. At his rallies, he'll ramble on about how awful things are, and then he'll say something like "I see you, I see that you're hurting. I'm going to fix it". It's hardly the peak of rhetoric, but it's super effective when so many people are struggling but the system is constantly gaslighting them because "the economy is doing great 👍".

I find it sad, because the people most likely to latch onto this are people who are most being fucked over by the system. Often hatred starts as a seed of fear for one's circumstances. I wish they would see that Trump is just exploiting them all the more.

because I think everyone on both sides know that he's just a figurehead that represents permission to act in a certain way, without embodying

It's like an evangelist. They say it, but they don't do anything real about it. Reminds me of John Edwards.

Gentlemen. We got 'em.

Now to just put our feet up, kick back and watch all the sweet, sweet consequence unfold. I'm sure we'll finally all get to see justice and law prevail. Surely this time.

I can't wait for the Netflix "Monsters" special on Epstein.

It'll ssentially be an 8-part series of softcore midget porn.

I mean, isn't this exact email in the article part of the Epstein files?

The part the Republicans deemed suitable for release.

[–] PaupersSerenade@sh.itjust.works 28 points 3 days ago (3 children)

‘part’ is the keyword there. OP (and I) would prefer the whole parcel

I think what I "love" most about this entire saga:

Every time people bring up "The epstein list" I just think: Why the hell would he keep a list of every single customer and who they raped and when? It is going to involve needing to look at the evidence and draw connections.

And then we get shit like this where it is in 100% plain text. So.. there probably actually is a single PDF file that lists every single rapist and who they raped and when and the SSN/passport number of each person involved and even what the weather was on each occasion.

[–] BananaTrifleViolin@lemmy.world 57 points 3 days ago (2 children)

He was a blackmailer and the key to blackmail is meticulous records and evidence to use against people. Question is where is it? Do the government have it? Has it been destroyed?

Seems to be a fair amount of evidence the US government does have and is being drip fed out.

I mean, blackmail is a pretty good reason, but also to money launder effectively you need to track the actual money, idk thats the best i can come up with

It continues to baffle and disappoint me each day that EVERYONE isn't demanding the Truth, no matter what it shows. Why that isn't a red flag to every single American is sad.

[–] FreshParsnip@lemmy.ca 25 points 2 days ago

I'm a step past demanding the truth. I demand something be DONE about it

[–] phar@lemmy.ml 16 points 2 days ago

There will be hard evidence shoved directly in people's faces that say 100% outright exactly what happened. They will still claim it's a hoax.

The emails stated that he participated, not just that he knew. Politico providing cover with the most favorable headline possible, once again

[–] RememberTheApollo_@lemmy.world 47 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Trump wasn’t a client. He was a partner.

[–] Corporal_Punishment@feddit.uk 15 points 2 days ago

Their only comeback is "what about Clinton".

Dude, if was in there we'd be calling for him to be shot into the sun as well. Fkn cultists

[–] jtj4135@lemmy.zip 18 points 2 days ago (2 children)

They'd be calling for legalized pedophilia a week after the Epstein files were released.

[–] floofloof@lemmy.ca 40 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

Trump appears to have been supplying them, and also raping them.

[–] pinheadednightmare@lemmy.world 46 points 3 days ago (7 children)

Alright trumpers, what’s the new excuse now?

[–] HumanOnEarth@lemmy.ca 49 points 3 days ago

That didn't happen.

And if it did, it wasn't that bad.

And if it was, that's not a big deal.

And if it is, that's not my fault.

And if it was, I didn't mean it.

And if I did, you deserved it.

Most people already know. Now what?

[–] Professorozone@lemmy.world 30 points 2 days ago (2 children)

No one fucking cares!!!!

The only people who can do anything about it are the ones DOING it!

Either those files have completely been sanitized by now or the whole world will know about all the pedophiles and nothing will happen to them.

I love the republican response. They are cherry picking discolosures to make him look bad. Well then realease it all and save face.

[–] fireweed@lemmy.world 24 points 2 days ago

Epstein asked Wolff what he thought an ideal response from Trump would be. “I think you should let him hang himself,” Wolff responded.

And the ironic statement of the decade award goes to ...

[–] BigMacHole@sopuli.xyz 32 points 3 days ago (1 children)

That's because he was an UNDERCOVER AGENT! Of COURSE he Knew Jeffrey Epstein was RAPING LITTLE GIRLS which is why he did NOTHING to Stop it and is doing EVERYTHING to Protect Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell! Because he WANTED to Stop it if ONLY he had let them Rape a FEW More Little Girls!

[–] snooggums@piefed.world 14 points 3 days ago

Trunp only raped children multiple times over the span of decades so he wouldn't blow his cover!

[–] untorquer@lemmy.world 15 points 2 days ago
[–] PedroMaldonado@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago

Trump knew about the girls

[–] brachiosaurus@mander.xyz 12 points 2 days ago

And the government knew about it. There isn't just an issue with a pedophile running the country, the whole government is rigged as fuck
