Acab? Ok? That doesn’t provide clarity.

He might have gotten promoted…

What does that mean?

I’ve never been friends or acquaintances with anyone like that. Our values are very different so we naturally don’t gravitate toward each other. I have met strangers who tried to get me to join their cult (whether it’s a dysfunctional family, new wave religion, old religion, spirituality), and an observation I’ve had was that they all lack boundaries. And that is a huge red flag for me.

That’s why you have to have a plan. Decide on what your boundaries are and then follow through.

You know how he said that he could kill someone in the middle of the 5th avenue and get away with it? He was projecting.

I was frustrated that I couldn’t quickly and accurately read the time - Ie: it’s 1:23 rn, if I was looking at an analog clock, depending on the activity, I’d round either up or down. I found the minutes too small to read, and 90% of the time rounding was good enough.

Not too long ago I read that young men are becoming right wing and are becoming more religious. But then I see articles like the above or articles saying that fewer and fewer people are religious. So I wonder what the reality actually is.

Since Lemmy and Threads are federated, how can I see Threads content? Also, is there a list of federated instances? Thanks!
