Now punish the corporations proportionately for the damage and destruction they have caused.

Huh. Fascism is on the rise everywhere. The planet is being destroyed by greedy billionaires. People are struggling to pay for food. There are wars and genocides. But he thinks the ugliest danger is "gender ideology", whatever that is.

And he says it erases differences. If "gender ideology" is being a non-bigot about gender, then that respects differences. What erases differences is forcing everyone to conform to only two set gender stereotypes.

It's saddening that dogma prevents him seeing how dramatically advances in understanding and respect for gender have improved so many people's lives. And it's disappointing to see him align himself and his church with forces of oppression.

It doesn't sound like a particularly bad breach but they didn't disclose it very quickly, which never works in a company's favor. I use Nord VPN still. I tried Mullvad for a while and it was good, but I found Nord did a better job at getting around geoblocks, and was cheaper. I use Mullvad's browser with it though.

Israel is responsible for making these people desperate enough that they get trampled in a rush for scarce food. Israel also admits it opened fire on a crowd of hungry civilians. Nothing about this makes the IDF look anything other than very bad.

"... and also fuck my own children and their descendants."

That's the bit that puzzles me, but I guess the answer is either

  1. they mistakenly think climate change will spare their rich descendants, or
  2. they're so pathologically selfish they can't muster up any real concern for their own children and grandchildren.

Proof would be something, because their word is not trustworthy at all. And the onus of proof is on the IDF. They've killed more than 30,000 people in 4 months. They've destroyed half of the homes in Gaza and destroyed the hospitals. They're keeping the people under siege, starving them of food and water and depriving them of medical care. Are we supposed to believe the IDF is being careful and conscientious? The evidence is before the world's eyes, despite the IDF killing a good number of the journalists reporting on it. It would be quite in keeping with all this for the IDF to have killed the people in this news story as well. And even if there was a stampede, was it caused by the IDF opening fire? If so, they still killed these people.

ExxonMobil is suing investors who want faster climate action

But sure, the lack of climate action is the public's fault and Exxon would love to help but has its hands tied.

The IDF says Palestinians were hurt by "pushing and trampling"

How irresponsible of the starving Palestinians not to file out in an orderly manner while being shot.

They don't really believe they're shooting at Hamas. They believe they're shooting at subhuman animals. This is the genocidal mindset.

Kamel Abu Nahel, who was being treated for a gunshot wound at Shifa Hospital, said he and others went to the distribution point in the middle of the night because they heard there would be a delivery of food. “We’ve been eating animal feed for two months,” he added.

He said Israeli troops opened fire on the crowd, causing it to scatter, with some people hiding under cars.

After the shooting stopped, they went back to the trucks and the soldiers opened fire again. He was shot in the leg and fell over and then a truck ran over his leg as it sped off, he said.

Medics arriving at the scene on Thursday found “dozens or hundreds” lying on the ground, according to Fares Afana, the head of the ambulance service at Kamal Adwan Hospital.

“Welcome to the end of democracy!” Posobiec declared. “We’re here to overthrow it completely. We didn’t get all the way there on January 6th, but we will endeavor to get rid of it and replace it with this right here,” he said, holding his fist in the air. “That’s right, because all glory is not to government, all glory to God.”

Steve Bannon, former White House adviser, is heard in the background exclaiming, “All right! Amen!”

All Republicans are perfectly happy with the idea of having a (Christo-)fascist dictatorship in power in the U.S. . All that they care about is that the dictatorship rewards them with money and power. I know Republicans like this, people you might think were just ordinary folks, and they're masters of telling themselves stories to justify their violence and thievery and masters at not seeing anything that might cause cognitive dissonance, to the extent that they're capable of that at all.
