The same audience member went on say the number is five, and proceeded to ask if Kirk knows how many mass shooters there have been in America over the last 10 years.

Seconds later, the sound of a pop is heard and the crowd screams as Kirk gets shot and recoils in his seat.

Yeah, I'm scared about what it would be like to attend some of the talks I've been to on campus now. Kinda like Oct7, it seems like an event that is extremely likely to cause an echo and I don't like the direction that echo is gonna come from and how many more guns that side has.

They might be holding back for whatever reasons (notify the family first or something) but if you watch the video, and obviously I do not encourage anyone to do so, it's pretty clear he died instantly. He got shot in the carotid artery. I'll spare people further graphic details, but yeah. You do not survive that sort of wound. He'd need a surgeon literally next to him ready to go to even have a chance.

I'm worried that this is just going to be a reichstag fire situation. The clip especially seems to be very on the nose, with him talking about minorities doing shootings and then getting shot (obviously, as the audience member points out, he's misrepresenting things, but rhetorically that doesn't matter).
