Apparently he was lying about transgender mass shooters when he got popped.

The same audience member went on say the number is five, and proceeded to ask if Kirk knows how many mass shooters there have been in America over the last 10 years.
Kirk: “Counting or not counting gang violence?”
Seconds later, the sound of a pop is heard and the crowd screams as Kirk gets shot and recoils in his seat.
If it makes you feel any better they were already planning to do whatever awful shit they're about to do and would have found some other excuse to do it.

Kirk is getting front page obituaries on every national news outlet, fawning adoration from every politician including the UK Prime Minister, a state-mandated mourning period and maybe even a state funeral.
When his nazi fans hear on the local news that the woke leftists are hosting an event at the local university, that could very well send them over the edge. And these are the types that have been fantasizing about murdering protesters in general well before Kirk was fired from life. Now they are looking to avenge his death, and while the pro-Palestine “Kirk” might be Hasan, they will probably go after softer targets, like university students they suspect of being pro-Palestine. Trump & Co are already fanning the flames of stochastic terrorism in this instance.
In my opinion, if Trump getting pretend arrested is enough for one of his fanboys to try to shoot up FBI HQ, I think another one of their idols biting the dust is more than enough to get them to lash out at much more vulnerable targets.
I say the target will be pro-Palestinian student organizations not because I think they are powerful but because in the campus culture war context, they are seen as occupying the opposite space to the Charlie Kirk/TPUSA types

They might be holding back for whatever reasons (notify the family first or something) but if you watch the video, and obviously I do not encourage anyone to do so, it's pretty clear he died instantly. He got shot in the carotid artery. I'll spare people further graphic details, but yeah. You do not survive that sort of wound. He'd need a surgeon literally next to him ready to go to even have a chance.
It looks like they've called it so I'm not worried about the lathe now, but I wouldn't have put it beyond the money backing him to do everything they could to keep him alive as vegetable to be carted out on demand.
