Transcript: Badger badger badger badger badger badger badger badger badger mushroom mushroom...

Badger Badger Badger is a Flash animation video created by Jonti Picking (TheWeebl) released on Newgrounds on September 1st, 2003. The video consists of images of dancing badgers over an electronic song while a voice repeats the word "badger" for three measures and changes "mushroom" in the fourth. After about three loops of badgers and mushrooms a mini-chorus about a snake plays as an animated snakes crawl across a desert, and the animation loops once again.

Boy I watch this one a lot. The first time I watched it, I was convinced that there is a secret Easter egg or something and I probably washed it for 15 minutes before I realized it was on a loop.

This time it won't be a snake or a mushroom, this time it won't be a snake or a mushroom....

Pfft, looped that thing for hours. After a time my brain just began conjuring other sounds out of it.

I'm that case, you may be interested in a related phenomenon called semantic satiation .

Our brains are fascinating.

But sometimes only to me.

The subtle variations and intensity just hook you in to the mind loop.

I just showed this classic to my kids!

Likewise. And still hearing the refrain 15 minutes later 😁

Badger is the OG, but Pork holds a special place in my heart.

It's the meat of kings!!

When my kids were crying in the back seat of the car, their mother and I used to sing Magical Trevor until they shut up lmao. One, Two, Three and Four.

And my CatFace clock is one of my most treasured possessions. His giant head is the clock face, while his little dangling body is a pendulum!

Weebl ftw! He also introduced me to Mr Scruff.

And how could I forget Kenya?! Kenya believe it?!!
