Based on some quick calculations, about 23-25 vertical inches of that statue should be Prometheus’ junk.
And they will be absolute cowards if they cover it up in some fashion.

Brb I'm going on a pilgrimage to suck prometheus' glorious bronze cock
taking an angle grinder and grappling hook down to texas to circumcise prometheus
Two vast and trunkless legs of stone Stand in the desert...
no way this thing will last long enough to become a proper ruin.
Prometheus? What ever happened to that guy?
After some period of having his liver eaten daily by bird he was freed by Heracles.
I hope vultures fuck with it every day
People should start leaving animal carcasses near it to attract them.
It's giving Ozymandias.
The point of that poem is somewhat undermined by Ramses II (Ozymandias) being the standard by which we judge all of Egyptian history, extremely well documented and museums positively bursting with artefacts of his age.
"Uh aktually, I was being ironic." - Shelley if he was a 200+ year old lich
Hot take Ozymandias was morally correct
We talking Egyptian Ozymandias or Watchmen Ozymandias?
Either option is wrong.
Yeah, but I wanted to make sure what we were talking about here
My comic book knowledge is much more informed than my Egyptology
Here's all you need to know:
Ramses II is the guy. He's the man, he's the defining feature of the New Kingdom of Egypt. He was given the power of regency at 14 and died in power 90, he had somewhere around 100 children, and he was such a success that every Pharaoh until Alexander wished they were him (And the Ptolemaics wanted to be both Alexander and Ramses II), and this gave him such an ego that he declared himself to be Amun (Not Amun reborn, not an avatar of Amun, not a representative of Amun, not that his office granted him the power of Amun. No. He was Amun) the god of Kingship and the divine personification of the right to rule and everyone went along with it he is one of four Pharaohs to be deified while alive, and he's the only one to declare himself a god.
Edit: He was succeeded by his 13th son, not because that was a particular number or anything but because the previous 12 had died of old age.
Hot diggity damn
Thanks for the information!
Yeah man xenophobia is a real good way of tying people together
okay LLMs suck and all but I've gone over 20 years knowing this poem without knowing Ozymandias is literally pharoah Ramesses II
look upon my posts, ye mighty and despair
Tbf those two names ain't exactly siblings
Yeah like I'd have never pieced it together. But when i googled for the full text of the poem the llm just casually mentioned "btw Ozymandias was a greek mispronunciation of Ramesses II's throne name"
I knew ozymandias was greek but I thought it was just a poem written about like the idea of a pharoah or other desert king in general, rather than being about a specific guy
It's kind of ironic because im pretty sure ramesses is one of the best known Pharoahs, not like some unknown king whose life work is entirely lost to time
Well, Greek misspelling aside, those were two different names of the same man, Ramesses was his personal name and he wasn't even royalty when he was born, his grandpa was vizier to pharaoh Horemheb back then, but Horemheb was old and and had no sons so he named the grandpa, later known as Ramesses I, as successor.
But since pharaohs weren't simpletons like European monarchs, they needed more names, specifically four more, so the Ozymandias came not from Ramesses, but from his throne name: Usermaatre Setepenre.
Lmao I had the exact same experience with this post

Lol
Where we gonna build it, some empty field in the midwest? Going to be tricky to find good land that isn't already taken.
The place all right wing guys dream of: THE SEA
Slopshalle
Ironic, but the Late Roman Empire had a birth rate crisis very similar to ours.
Tech bro fuckers will eventually create the Torment Nexus. Until they die - it will be the happiest moment of their lives.
prometheus was punished by the gods for giving the gift of knowledge to man, his ruin was smote upon the mountainside and pecked by birds
Are those Amish guys welding it together?
They aren't Amish, but weird right wing RETVRN TO ROME guys

They aren’t even dressed like the guy in the statue 1/10
So are they doing Prometheus or Atlas?
Pretty sure this is just a Edwarde Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes album cover
Lol I was gonna say Mumford and Sons

Prometheus Bound [Shibari 2026]
Does he know what happened to Prometheus?
The west to these mooyaks is in a constant flux of falling and rising, then falling, then rising, and it changes with literally the most flippant shit like beef tallow. Must be exhausting.
Don't smear my bro Prometheus like that, he was only cool character in Greek mythology
