You can choose which part you want, however where exactly is random based on the birth rate (if a region has a higher birth rate it is more likely that you are born there). What part would you choose and why?

K - might as well guarantee a first world country.

[–] Knock_Knock_Lemmy_In@lemmy.world 17 points 3 days ago (3 children)

It's not guaranteed you'll be a Kiwi.

I can't tell if everyone else got whooshed, or if we're getting whooshed.

I like G. I've always wanted to be a deep sea creature.

[–] Agent641@lemmy.world 39 points 3 days ago (5 children)

If you don't choose K, it's your loss

K is the only area you're guaranteed to be born into a first world country, therefore giving you better passport privilege to move where you want to go if you don't like it.

[–] Lumisal@lemmy.world 22 points 3 days ago (2 children)

Yeah but you might be born as an aboriginal tribe member, which the Australian government isn't exactly the nicest towards.

K is honestly the only truly safe option.

K seems like the "safest" option.

[–] Lembot_0004@discuss.online 40 points 4 days ago (9 children)

Flying venomous poisonous 48-legged spider-roo might change your opinion.

[–] JASN_DE@feddit.org 22 points 4 days ago

No one said anything about having to stay there, and Australia-only at least basically guarantees the option, unlike let's say many African countries.

I'm at a loss.

[–] Lazhward@lemmy.world 18 points 3 days ago (4 children)

K is clearly the best, but E is underrated. Some highly developed countries there, just have to hope you won't get Myanmar.

Clearly G, so that I die instantly while not beeing able to cognitivly know what's happening, so I don't see this dumb timeline of humanity.

[–] BastingChemina@slrpnk.net 6 points 3 days ago (1 children)

I think French Polynesia is in G, not the worst option.

People around here seem so scared of south america. It's mostly a nice place to live.

[–] CanadaPlus@lemmy.sdf.org 5 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago) (1 children)

The levels of inequality are like nothing in the developed world, and you're probably not going to be one of the rich people.

Maybe you can be safe, but you're gong to have limited opportunity. Same story as part E really.

[–] Jackcooper@lemmy.world 15 points 3 days ago (4 children)

So is G like, a random boat?

[–] Agent641@lemmy.world 14 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Born on a cruise ship to degenerate swinger parents.

K. Australia seems cool.

[–] iveseenthat@reddthat.com 2 points 2 days ago

[–] VinnyDaCat@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago

where exactly is random based on the birth rate (if a region has a higher birth rate it is more likely that you are born there)

Even if this wasn't included I was already thinking of this. A, C and I all seem like they have rather good odds at putting you somewhere in Africa.

[–] BuboScandiacus@mander.xyz 14 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago) (1 children)

I guess K is the least risky option

Remeber kids, bad humans are far more dangerous than scawwwy Australian animals

K > B > F > A > H > E in order of best to worst in my opinion.

I wouldn't really consider the others
