You can choose which part you want, however where exactly is random based on the birth rate (if a region has a higher birth rate it is more likely that you are born there). What part would you choose and why?

K is the only area you're guaranteed to be born into a first world country, therefore giving you better passport privilege to move where you want to go if you don't like it.

[–] Lumisal@lemmy.world 22 points 3 days ago (2 children)

Yeah but you might be born as an aboriginal tribe member, which the Australian government isn't exactly the nicest towards.

[–] lunarul@lemmy.world 2 points 3 days ago

Is the birth rate higher in tribes than in the cities?

[–] DeathByBigSad@sh.itjust.works 10 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Monkey paw, you get born as a fish, and spawn-captured/killed immediately.

Bears should get more shit than they do for their shitty tactics.

I hate bugs more than third world countries

[–] scytale@piefed.zip 19 points 3 days ago

Hate to break it to you, but third world countries have bugs too.

[–] ivanafterall@lemmy.world 5 points 3 days ago (2 children)

Are there second world countries? I never hear about them. Is there a master list?

The old division was nato/capitalist block was first world, soviet/communist block was second world and everything else was third world.

The soviet union may be gone, but a lot of the countries that used to be a part of it are still at the same relative standard of living between the developed west and the underdeveloped global south, so could be considered "second world". The biggest example is, of course, russia; yeah, not the best standard of living but a lot better than what a lot of the world is getting.

I know that's now generally accepted, but when I was young it was Old World (Yurp, Russia etc) and New World (US, Canada, Australia etc). But the poorer former colonies, the developing nations, didn't fit either, so they were called the Third World.

[–] ripcord@lemmy.world 5 points 3 days ago

Yes, the soviet bloc.

K gives you about a 60% chance of being born in the ocean.

[–] Nastybutler@lemmy.world 5 points 3 days ago

Reread the rules OP posted

[–] dethmetaljeff@lemmy.zip -1 points 3 days ago (1 children)

I don't know.... it looks like 60% ocean to me....I don't want to be born in the middle of the ocean.

[–] lunarul@lemmy.world 2 points 3 days ago

That would be impossible based on the rules.
