Ashurbanipal and Gilgamesh...
Krunchy Kuneiform!
Ashurbanipal and Gilgamesh might be the marshmallows.
And just what is Sargon to you, chopped liver-flavored marshmallow?
Yeh unironically frfr who ever heard of the Epic of Sargon? Not even the same league, bro.
Thanks, now I have the song stuck in my head.
Mixed feelings about Assyrian Kings whos records are responsible for much of our records of ancient times being most well known from a pop band called, what was it again, bowling for soup?
I was thinking the They Might Be Giants song.
I was being facetious.
They Might Be Giants?
What!? No way! I want my breakfast cereal to look like this, it's awesome!!
Yes, but with the tone and shape variation as in the photo would be awesome
I wouldn't be surprised if at least one of those tablets contained recipes for some sort of bread or cake
Unfortunately for you most tablets were created for business transactions like bills etc. This is fortunate for archaeology though because it means that there were a LOT of them and it also gives us a pretty good view of what ppl. back then spent their money on.
They look so yummy!
That's bitesize Shredded Wheat. Looks exactly like the UK breakfast cereal.
That's one hell of a forbidden snack.
Do we have a forbidden snacks community anywhere on lemmy?
A place for majestic STEMLORD peacocking, as well as memes about the realities of working in a lab.
Rules
This is a science community. We use the Dawkins definition of meme.
