(CW anti-Semitism) Local man storms out of meeting yelling about free speech bc we say don't call people "zog bots"

So a new guy shows up to one of our public meetings yesterday, after maybe 20 minutes calls someone who he disagrees with a "zog bot"
I tell him not to call people that, bc "zog" originates in neo-nazism and anti-jewish conspiracy theories, say we can talk more after the meeting if need be
He slams his fists on the table and yells "ok zog bot" throws papers on the ground and storms out yelling "no god damn free speech! Zogs got em, zogs got em!"

Thinking on it, and how I used to be an antisemite myself until I got smacked in the head with a dose of reality and leftism. Anyway antisemitism really has been a boon for israel and it's no surprise it's good for them and emigration (and land stealing) if the rest of the world hates jews. Like on the one hand october 7th was a great thing a massive act of resistance to fascism but on the other it just gave pissrael and zionists worldwide a blank check of violence.
Considering that Palestinians have been enduring occupation and genocide for over 80 years, it's not like they had some choice not to "give a blank check of violence". Zionists did not need a blank check for the Nakba. I think this is a really poisonous way to think about it, especially considering that Al-Aqsa Flood was basically the starting gun for the collapse of imperialist influence in west asia broadly.

And that feeds into the Israeli project of painting itself as the only safe place for Jews. They conflate Israel with Judaism to make Jews around the world more sympathetic, but also pragmatic. I like how being visibly Muslim in america gets you shot, drowned as a toddler, or stabbed at 6 years old by your landlord, and we still waste our breath on "antisemitism" when those statistics are mainly instances of antizionism, or they count every single chud comment on the internet as an antisemitic incident.
Most of the time, when "antisemitism" is mentioned in the context of Palestinian liberation, it serves as a distraction from the movement. Yes, instead of focusing our attention on people in the global south getting bombed in their tents, let's focus on the ashkenazi who never faced any adversity in life seeing a mean comment on youtube.
