I successfully convinced the gender clinic I'm trans enough to go on the bottom surgery wait list 💪
Now it's only another year long wait
A thoroughly convincing terminal encounter
Hell yes! If it is available to you, go ahead and get as much hair removal as possible! If you are far enough along with this process, they can sometimes bump your appointment for the surgery up by months if you are annoying about it in the states.
Not looking forward to it ouchie but yeah it needs to be done. I live in a pretty rural town in terms of mentality but I'm sure I can find SOMEONE who would be willing
bottom surgery talk
I have started hair removal process for bottom surgery hopefully next year. It definitely hurts, but was not nearly as painful as the face, if that helps! A brazilian also hits all the necessary parts if you need to educate your technician. You can ask for graphs to show your technician. Hair removal is slightly different depending on the vaginoplasty procedure you will undergo. I am doing Penile inversion, which requires the most hair removal.I feel like there's a joke somewhere about being at the top of the bottom surgery list and the bottom of the top surgery list or something.
How hard is doing that convincing? Guessing its more than clicking a box on an online application...
It wasn't so bad, I've transplained gender to a couple nursing classes for my professors. It was kind of like that but I got to really open wide about stuff. Also, they were concerned about stuff like my reactions to general anesthesia etc
I'm feel like a deer in a headlights for any sort of discussion about that :\
Have you had problems in the past? Or just the normal questions the anaethesiology or their assistant always seem to ask?
No, it's just a standard intake question before any surgery. I ask it at my work too (I'm a nurse).
I'm quite open about it at work and comfortable with being trans. One of my coworkers had no idea (somehow) for a year despite that lol, that was a nice boost
