Just recently there was the news that Germany is taking in a whole bunch of donkeys from Gaza, and apparently even PETA (ever concerned about all life) made a post about the suffering of donkeys in Gaza and apparently were trying to get people to help in having them evacuated.

I began to dwell on a thought recently: are GAZANS trying to evacuate those donkeys? I recall that Gazans actually during this genocide have been hugely appreciative of the help that donkeys have been, even to the point of having a celebration in their honor; are donkeys being taken from Gaza BECAUSE they're of so much help to Gazans? I'm sure there's a large amount of other animals in Gaza such as cats that would also need help or evacuation, and yet the evacuation is of donkeys, an animal that has actually been of help to the people there.

I'm probably being paranoid, but I've certainly seen nothing from Gazans to indicate that they're trying to evacuate them, and certainly no other animals such as cats are being evacuated, so why donkeys?

The uni didn't even properly publicize the new policy. It came out during a debate and the student newspaper published it.

So yeah, my girlfriend took me to visit the ВДНХ (look it up, libs) and it was honestly amazing. I got Gagarin to pat my head in the monument to the Kosmonauts!!

I've noticed people say, every time they see Israel commit a war crime such as when they dropped a missile in qatar or forced tons of people to strip down and gathered them in groups to stay that way, that 'well we did it too, are you saying we're also committing war crimes?'/'well we did it too, we shouldn't be upset because that would be hypocrisy'.

I know the immediate response would be 'yes, America commits tons of war crimes', but honestly I feel like they're somewhat baiting for that response because they know people will just shut their brains off if you accuse our government of war crimes; instead the appropriate response (and like....IN THE FIRST PLACE, those former arguments entirely skip the point) should be 'if a different country attacked us in the same way for the same purpose, would you defend them like you did Israel?'

I saw a video of a guy defending Israel attacking qatar with 'well they didn't attack qatar, they dropped a missile on a target who was responsible for crimes against them and a few civilians happened to be killed or injured; we've done that too you know!'

America harbors TONS of people who are responsible for crimes against other countries, are you entirely sure you want to tell those countries that these methods are valid? Among the people America harbors are the MEK for example, a terrorist organization that committed terror attacks in Iran. If the response then is that the MEK are not registered as a terror organization in America, then Hamas may very well not be registered as a terror organization in qatar either. Would we take the same stance if other countries behaved the same way with us?

International law isn't difficult, it's actually very intuitive if you even cared to think about it for a hot minute!

There are normal and valid anti-hypocrisy arguments to make, but to use the argument 'well WE did it too you know!' is one heck of a bizarre misunderstanding of the assignment.
