I've been punched in the face by reality so many times recently that my take on Zohran becoming mayor of NYC is still "I'll believe it when I see it." Capital is not gonna give up without a fight and they've been fighting extremely dirty. Remember when Melenchon's left coalition won an election in France like 2 years ago and the centrists just said "No"?
That being said, even if they somehow ratfuck him and he doesn't become mayor, just winning this election is itself monumental and a huge achievement. It's undeniable proof that people want these kinds of politicians and that money isn't enough to win a campaign. Definitely something to be proud of.
I got scammed a couple months ago as well. I founded a startup and got a lot of letters in the mail from several official registries telling me to pay X fee. Turns out one of them was a scam and I paid a non-insignificant amount of money for nothing 
Feels bad but sometimes they just get you. Consider how many scams you didn't fall for, your score is probably pretty good.

By what metric are these conflicts "going badly" for Israel? Gaza is uninhabitable, Hezbollah has suffered serious decapitating strikes, Syria wasn't fighting back at all.
This phrase is my personal pet peeve. The mods then weren't great but they didn't ban people because they hated disagreements as a concept, they wouldn't ban you if you disagreed with them on your favorite pizza toppings or about the best Star Wars trilogy.
They banned people for the substance of their opinions just like the hexbear mods do. Hexbear mods will ban zionists not because they can't stand anyone who disagrees with them, but because they can't stand zionists. Let's not pretend like hexbear welcomes opinions from the entire political spectrum. We just differ from the r/cth mods in what exact opinions we deem banworthy.
Edit: To be clear I do not think this is a bad thing. I support the mods banning people with terrible opinions.
