Swede here, no one in Sweden has ever served meatballs with white sauce of any kind (no idea what it is) and dill... Highly doubt the meatball ingredients are even close to correct either.

Boo, Swedish meatball sandwiches have meatballs and beetroot salad.
That looks so good. Definitely another Swedish meatballs I've tried. That looks 100x better.
An American claiming America is better at scandinaviaing than Scandinavia, is the most American thing I've heard in my life.

Any food in the US that's qualified with will typically baffle anyone of said nationality.
That's true in every country, you should see "pizza Americana" or "American fried rice".
Hell, it's true just traveling across the US. Try "Phildadelphia Cheeseteak" a few hours' drive out of Philly. They'll ask if you want marinara.
Accurate but I was trying to expand beyond "Americans using food words wrong". (Also, "wrong" is culture purity nonsense in this context. Food and language evolve and that's fine.)

I'm guessing it's a white gravy instead of a brown gravy, so colored from cream and flour. I've only ever had brown gravy and lingonberries with my swedish meatballs, but then I've also only ever had them at Ikea which I'm sure isn't the best representation.
If you served this in Sweden you'd get angry side glances and passive aggressive snorts.
I'm assuming the same can be said about USA with this particular sandwich lol

It looks like there's 3 to me. Practically gluttony.
I ate at a restaurant that did this once. The kids menu had "spaghetti with meatball" which they got a kick out of.
It was the size of my fist. They served my single-digit age children like a 3/4lb meatball each. They still tell tales of the legendary meatball to this day.

No, those are meat ellipsoids. Only one of them qualifies as a ball.
That's not a sandwich. That's a piece of bread that got fucking trafficked.
Where to even start... Pathetic, overpriced and I doubt that the quality of the 'meat' balls meet even supermarket quality, or even IKEA. The garnish should be beetroot salad and the bread a baguette. At a minimum.
A crime against common decency, a culinary affront and a cultural offence.

If it had more meatballs, sauce and such, it has a chance. But the picture is sad and dismal, why not complain?

There's federation issues between piefed and lemmy currently. It's not like this normally.
