If this had aired on TV I wouldn’t have seen it. Streisand would be proud.

I’d very much like a local check on law enforcement, especially when it comes to enforcing foreclosures

The worst part about it is that it kinda makes sense.

As someone who’s voted for coroner before I’ve often thought the same.

Also sheriff, which is a law enforcement position that does not require any training, just tricking a sufficient number of people.

The Robin Hood myth is so ancient it’s tied to demigods. There were Robins hooding after William th Conquer changed cow to beef. It’s a British archetype given name, right down to the bowmanship.

tl;dr - Robin Hood is an anthropomorphic personification.

I was sitting with my mom this past Independence Day and asked her if this one felt different from the bicentennial and she started crying.

A nice, long house like that is begging to be turned into a passive-solar house.

My cat jumped on the bed this morning to ask for food. Apparently he forgot we have a dog and hissed really loud and sprang off the bed.

Wait for the winter. I’ll bet $20 that the Boston-Washington corridor gets at least 18” of snow in one event.

So this happened

By neighbors’ dad insists on mowing their lawn at least twice a week, especially when I’m trying to enjoy my hammock.

How can I sabotage their mowers so it looks like normal wear and tear so that he doesn’t mow the lawn more than once a week.

inb4: suburbs suck

ETA: How does it take you three hours to mow a quarter acre on a riding mower?

Location: Flyover, PA

Noncredible answers only

ETA: It has disappeared from ADSB.

Because it was the Last Thursday BCE.

Made colcannon last night with kale and leeks, and turned the leftovers into brunch by adding some eggs and crumbled bacon. Really good with some Frank’s red hot and ketchup
