A friend of mine was showing me his newly acquired box-bed. I dont know how to describe it, but it has a big space in the center to store things and a movable wooden deck.
So, he opens it and the deck was all slided to one side and he says "idk why it keeps sliding" with his wife on my back.
I suggested him to ad some friction to it

The bed is Ikea that's been assembled a second time and would collapse without it πππππππππ
The only bed I'd call good that I've ever had came from Ikea. I don't understand why do people keep buying budget things and then shitting on the entire brand. I also got a standing desk from Ikea and I was surprised by how sturdy it is. You can get a bed for β¬100 and you can get a bed for β¬1000. It's not Ikea, it's you. My standing desk was β¬800
They live in a part of town that has a bed shortage and this stops their bed from being stolen
Not all walls can remain upright by themselves and some need the assistance of a sturdy bed to continue doing their job. Truly an honorable bed.

This is a top bunk bed that is two beds stacked on top of each other held in place with metal pegs. This prevents unauthorized users from taking the beds and placing them side-by-side.
It's nothing naughty, it just makes it way easier to restrain your subjects for testing.
Bed frames in college were squeaky. I found a little bit of olive oil took care of it.
