After careful consideration I have concluded that I wouldn't mind looking at an additional binturong.

I'm seeing a lot of enthusiastic love for these critters, I'm gonna be honest that critter has a disconcerting visage. If I were walking in a forest and turned around and saw one staring at me in the daylight I'd be startled, if I came across one at night I might jump out of my skin.
I am sure they make up for this with an affable personality and an impressive suite of forest skills, and I'm 'miring those paws and that phat tail.

I had a kinkajou as a kid, the much smaller version of these. It was one of my favourite animals of all time. I'd love to rescue one of these and raise it as a child.

Just a distant relative of that critter (the palm civet). Bonturongs are the ones that smell like popcorn.

they really do. was at a zoo once, the binturong was nowhere to be seen becaue they're not that active during the day, but i could absolutely smell the popcorn.
I thought it was popcorn smells like binturongs and binturongs smell like vaped weed. for the obvious reason.
All of these actually just smell like 2-Acetyl-1-pyrrroline
