Lancer is a... weird little guy? I dunno even though I really liked undertale I didn't really vibe with deltarune and never played past ep1. I do vaguely remember having fun fighting him.

Soooo, uh, yeah, that's Lancer I guess. I'd love to hear about everybody's favourite little weirdos.

Important PSA:

Many people want a mommy to take care of them. But where do mommies come from? Not from the sky*! In order to fill the shortage of mommies, we need more femmes to step up and become mommies themselves.

We must seek eggs to nurture them!

*I know your mommy is an angel, but that's besides the point

I wish I was evil. Would make being alive so much easier.

I hate every part of taking care of my hair. In the shower, brushing it, dealing with it when it's wet, it all sucks. Tbh with yall I do not deal with it every day. I have to get better about it.

Just more and more personal care shit. Plus I ha e to add makeup at some point, plus skincare, plus actually doing all the things I'm already supposed to do.

[–] TerminalEncounter@hexbear.net 2 points 1 hour ago* (last edited 1 hour ago)

I only wash my hair every other day, sometimes every three days. I wash my body every day but not my hair. It gets oily for a bit but oil is just texture and eventually your scalp chills out and stops producing as much and you just have regular hair every day. I guess it depends on the type of hair you have but I have pretty wavy style curly hair and it doesnt need a wash literally every day.

Who told you you had to do makeup or skincare every day?? Do you tell the women in your life they should be doing their makeup everyday?? People talk about retinol every day, but thats wayyy too much and not necessary anyway. Might sound harsh but this sounds very much like internalized misogyny. It sucks to start being a woman after years and years of hearing about patriarchal misogynistic beauty standards and then realizing "oh shit this applies to me" and not having the mental antibodies for it yet - rest assured, youre a woman if you dont do your makeup every day and you dont wash your hair every day. Skincare if you wanna get into it can be a moisturizing sunscreen and your 100% of the way there, I have other stuff I do cause I like it not because I have to.

The stuff you have to do is what makes you happy, eggnog.

Been crying lately thinking about the different life experiences the women in my life have had that I never will. Today's was a wedding. Imagining how they must have looked on their day. I wish that was me. I wish I was a normal, typical woman. A husband, kids, just how they look and are...

...but I'm not. I'm not straight. I can't have kids. Even if I could I think my autism/overstimulation would make it not for me. I just want to be them. And I'm not.

[–] BountifulEggnog@hexbear.net 5 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

Yea I guess it is comphet stuff. Idk, I want that. Maybe I'll look into how to deal with it.

[–] TerminalEncounter@hexbear.net 5 points 14 hours ago

I mean if youre straight, thats fine. But you definitely dont need a boyfriend or husband to have a wedding or wear a wedding dress. And being a mother does not require that you actually give birth to a kid, besides adoption or step kids theres also surrogacy.

What you all need to understand that while I may come off as a whiny loser when my family needs me I lock the fuck in and become their rock swole-doge

[–] Wmill@hexbear.net 5 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

I think I get the sexy plumber fantasy but it's more like it be hot if I had an HVAC job and was making money, I'd skip the sex part just to be explaining further how neat dual run capacitors are to some milf pepe-silvia

[–] Wmill@hexbear.net 2 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

I'd also point out the reversing valve to her explain the sequence of events that turn it on which wire it is from the thermostat and how a failure for it to change over has either to do with the power or more likely low refrigerant possibly from a leak some where. This is a heat pump fantasy but can also apply to PTACs. That my friends would be the life...

I need to do something for Valentine's Day because fuck me this is getting sad

[–] JohnBrownsBussy2@hexbear.net 6 points 17 hours ago

This will be the first Valentine's Day that I will be spending with a partner. Definitely trying to make it special. So far, we got a hotel room in a nearby city that's on the same block as my favorite LGBT bar, and there's also several nearby nightclubs for dancing (including an LGBT nightclub). There's an LGBT clothing swap/charity thing that we're going to earlier in the day, and we have reservations at my gf's favorite sushi place in the area. Really looking forward to it.

To the trans lesbians here, do you see more dating success with trans lesbians than with cis lesbians? Because I feel like I get almost no matches from cis lesbians and mostly matches with other trans women

She's having a hard time with relationships rn

[–] BountifulEggnog@hexbear.net 4 points 17 hours ago

Just joking that I don't know what dating success is

[–] XiaCobolt@hexbear.net 5 points 19 hours ago

I'm not dating right now. I have been tracking flirting interactions with cis and trans girls.

Honestly I get heaps of cis women's attention I'm tall and very cocky, but also present very femme.

I've had a soft-butch lesbian flirt with me in the mall while stressing her relationship with her girlfriends was open. I've had random queer coded girls tell me how pretty I am.

I get a lot of flirty comments from transfems. I'm not sure if any of this helps.

[–] Alisu@hexbear.net 6 points 20 hours ago* (last edited 20 hours ago) (1 children)

I haven't really tried dating as a trans woman yet. But I plan to try in like a couple months. I've have seen lesbians being pretty transphobic before. I worry my dating pool is going to be severely limited, but I guess that also filters out terrible people automatically.

[–] XiaCobolt@hexbear.net 5 points 19 hours ago* (last edited 19 hours ago)

My understanding is overwhelmingly lesbians love and accept trans women but the few ones who don't are like experts in transphobia.

I have developed a crush on my long time friend 😭 it’s never gonna go anywhere and now I’m just like bleh

[–] meler@hexbear.net 7 points 23 hours ago

I cut my bangs back into existence and I definitely increased my cuteness rank. More cuteness updates to come hopefully

Got a progesterone prescription! Unfortunately, my PP doesn't do suppositories, so I'll have to see if the 100 mg oral has a benefit (or if it's a capsule that can be taken rectally), but they do offer a 200 mg prescription. PP appointment went well. Was kinda worried since my last set of labs wasn't on the patient portal, but they had them in the office and those levels were good even after I went on EV monotherapy.

[–] queermunist@lemmy.ml 5 points 22 hours ago

I take tablets sublingually, but they take a long time to dissolve so I just go to sleep with it under my tongue.

[–] XiaCobolt@hexbear.net 5 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

Most of the capsule don't say they can be taken rectally but you can. I've been doing it for 6 weeks and they seem to be giving me fat tits and a better mood.

[–] JohnBrownsBussy2@hexbear.net 4 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

Yeah, that's basically what I'm planning to do. I might start with oral to see if there's any effect for a few weeks, and then switch if the capsule is compatible.

[–] XiaCobolt@hexbear.net 4 points 21 hours ago

Oral can make you sleepier sometimes people like this, but it's weaker.

But what I'm saying is there is no prog capsule that you can't take rectally, even if there is nothing on it about that.

It's off label use but lots of trans healthcare is. The pharmaceutical industry doesn't intentionally make medicines for us.

Playing Kotor2 finally again after a decade! catgirl-happy o-oh it came out in 2005 doggirl-sweat uh....playing it again after two decades!

i can't believe how i was shocked by the "protocol droid" in my first playthrough, like goddamn. ESL and I was a child but still, the droid is like; "Incredibly Suspicious Statement: Nooooo, Master. I definitely didn't kill everyone. I'm just a smΓ₯l bean uwu."

ah anyway, it's great. I followed a mod build from here and it was surprisingly easy, even on a Linux, just make sure you make all the files in the override and modules folders all lowercase so there isn't 4 different files with technically the same name for the game to fuck itself with.

Also for me the game crashed if I put in different sized movie files, but ymmv

It's weird to go back and be totally different. Time moves, but everything is familiar. I guess life is just like that.

Reconnecting isn't always bad.

negativity, jealosySometimes i cant stand seeing other trans ppls progress photos or happiness/joyposting or selfies, stuff that should be positive and feel-good just makes me jealous and upset. Idk if somethings wrong with my brain, i hate it

[–] JohnBrownsBussy2@hexbear.net 8 points 1 day ago (1 children)

spoilerI think if you feel that way, then the best thing you can do is to redirect that energy from a negative direction to a positive one. If you want what they have, then the question is how you can obtain it as well. I don't think there's anything wrong with your brain: reframing and rechanneling these emotions is a skill that you can practice.

Sometime the answer is just "time" and you can take comfort that it's something you can look forward to. Sometime the answer is "effort". For me, I felt envy when it came to relationships and appearance. I obtained the first by putting myself out there and going through the stress of dating, and for the second I put a lot of practice into makeup and learned a lot about fashion. There are still things that I feel a bit jealous of, like shilouette and voice training: these things are definitely addressable, just harder for me and I know that with effort (and time) they are achievable.

Ty for the helpful reply, rationally i know ur right and i shouldnt compare myself to ppl whove been transitioning for way longer with way more effort than i have, and whove developed their relationships over years and sometimes decades, the idiot part of my brain just keeps telling me theres no hope for me specifically. I am trying/will try to think about it in a more helpful or at least less self-hating way, tho

Being a professional library goer (unemployed) I was asked to fill a survey today. Passionately wrote down all the library did for me and how cool it made me like on a spiritual level big-cool
