7. No duplicate posts.
If a source you used was already posted by someone else, the autoMod will leave a message. Please remove your post if the autoMod is correct. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners.
The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

I need a headline stating that ICE was shot by members of the community.
The problem is that’s what they want. They wear mask because they claim people are harassing agents at home. We all know that’s bullshit, but I suspect shooting ICE is an exactly what they are hoping for.
They don't need someone shooting ICE to do whatever they want though, they're already doing it.

Really, the state and city government are not fighting anyone. They are complaining to a federal government who does not give a shit about them or the people they represent. If they were actually fighting the feds we would see police siding with the people, power cut off to ICE facilities, and local arrests of federal agents who are assulting people. What they are doing is loudly complaining while doing nothing to protect people who are rightfully defending themselves and their neighbors.
I don't mean to sound divisive, but it really seems like only one of these groups is consistently doing the shooting.

Just a friendly reminder that resisting arrest is not a reason to arrest somebody. That charge comes second, not first, and if that is the first charge then the police deserve any and all harm that befall them.
Citizens should legally be able to defend themselves with violence if they are being arrested or assaulted for resisting arrest.
While I appreciate this. It is accurate in what the law says. It's not really helpful beyond a point.
I think Americans need to quickly realize that their "rights" have been demoted down to the average black person. (I'd say before the civil rights movement. But really I don't think that's too much different given recent history).
The same lies and tactics used for decades will be used and justified on all of us now. And it will not stop there. That is just the first bar.
The same tactics and lack of due process is already escalating to the degree of how Israel treats Palestinians in the west bank (not that bad yet obviously). But there is a reason ICE is literally being trained by that genocidal state.
This is what we will experience. Fascism is just Imperialism turned inward.
So, while it is good to "know your rights" as it may for a time or a certain situation be helpful as a tactic. That is just quickly not making any difference anymore.
I really think we need more focus on forming forms of community resistance. "Your rights" are not going to save you. You need numbers and the pressure of your community that has your back. This is the time to get to know your neighbors and the people forming resistance in your community. That is where we are. The law, state, and your "rights" matter less each day.
The day is coming when they will treat some chosen Blue city like Gaza, and burn it to the ground. They'll think it will send a message, but as usual, these Dumb Apes will send the wrong message.
Sadly, it won't be the first time the US dropped bombs on its own citizens.

A man was shot in the leg Wednesday night during a federal immigration enforcement operation in north Minneapolis.
Witnesses say a series of gunshots followed a car chase and foot chase involving federal agents. The Department of Homeland Security said an agent fired “defensive shots” that hit a man in the leg
Apparently there was a video posted and 911 call made in the same part of Minneapolis at the same time stating that people had been chasing her husband and ramming him with their car and that they shot him through the front door of his house as he ran inside to his wife and children.

These are probably those "defensive shots" that hit people in the back. Law enforcement can bend the laws of physics with their reports and testimonies.
