We had "fee oil" during the Bush years and 2007 happened anyways. We're way past the point of increasing input = increased output. This is even more tragic because people are dying due to imperialism that won't even work how the imperialists want. Resources won't save us from the AI crash or whatever looming bubble we don't know about. If anything it will cause a shock worse than doing nothing. You'll get all this oil, increase energy output to support AI and then AI shrinks 80% overnight. Now all those energy jobs and resources are worthless since it too must shrink.
