Hey now I’ve tried my HARDEST to pass as queer-coded. I’ve been KIND, SELFLESS, and have VERY CUTE AMBIGUOUS TATTOOS. But guys are such an ick to me lmao.

Yes!!! being nd feels like that a bit - and is why my spouse and I connect - we both just really dig each others vibe and could really take or leave any of the gendered trappings. Ironically back before “woke” was a thing, my small rural hometown had a big annual ‘drag’ show for charity (read 50-something year old jet ski dealership owners, mayor, etc. in dresses, light makeup, and heavily stuffed brassieres doing show tunes).
I actually did a drag version of ain’t no mountain high enough in high school as Tammi Terrell’s part accompanying the american football captain (I was the real football captain) lol and I did crush the singing and the black dress. And a bully called us the f-slur the following week and we beat his ass 😂
Ultimately though, I think if I transitioned I’d be a doppelganger of Natasha Lyonne, and I don’t need that kind of attention
