It's a very short article but if you still want more of a taste...

Health officials typically advise avoid swimming in that DC waterway, because sewage from the city’s aging system flows into it. [...] The National Park Service warns plainly against taking a dip in the creek’s E. coli-ful waters.

future historians will have a wild fucking time figuring out what happened here. it'll take centuries until they reach "oh yes sir, please more diseases, said no one ever. except these people did. they consistently, knowingly chose more disease. it's insane."

Worms were paying respect to their moms RFK Jr. Was just being a gracious host and arranged a meeting, transportation and catering to the family

Kennedy is well-known for his maverick approach to personal health. He revealed last year that doctors once found a dead worm in his brain.

Fucking liberals. Call him a freak conspiracy nut fascist who wants to put people in concentration camps. Not a "maverick".

Brain-eating amoeba take my energy.

[–] Thordros@hexbear.net 11 points 10 months ago

I always think of this when somebody says the word "maverick" about a politician.

[–] GrouchyGrouse@hexbear.net 8 points 10 months ago

Or, long con here, we let them associate the word maverick with being like RFK Jr.

And then when somebody brings up John McCain and refers to him as a maverick they'll assume, correctly, that McCain was a conspiracy nut fascist.
