So the Trump campaign is going to be using AI to falsify crowd sizes soon. Got it.

[-] adarza@lemmy.ca 31 points 3 months ago

they probably already are, and they're still getting played by reality and facts.

[-] HK65@sopuli.xyz 95 points 3 months ago

He's really hurting in his ego about his lack of crowds, isn't he?

[-] worldwidewave@lemmy.world 50 points 3 months ago

It’s incredible that crowd size is still such a touchy subject for him. It was the first lie that he had Sean Spicer tell, and it’s still a soft spot of his to this day. Gotta keep the Kamala fever up!

[-] Coelacanth@feddit.nu 30 points 3 months ago

I don't think it's incredible at all. As a narcissist there are few things he values more than people liking him, and crowd size is (to him) the most direct representation or measure of it.

[-] ripcord@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago

Liking him is secondary to paying attention to him, but yeah.

[-] ThePowerOfGeek@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago

Poor little Donny. It's not the size that counts dude, it's the adulation of the crowd that you can muster.

[-] Lucidlethargy@sh.itjust.works 2 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

He literally always is (any time it comes to his attention), and figuratively always has.

[-] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 74 points 3 months ago

"Trump says" news stories are illegitimate journalism.

Not even trump believes what he says. If someone isn't aware of that by now, let them read the "Trump says" stories.

Insecure about crowd size in 2016, 2020, and 2024. With all the sexual harassment and rape accusations I was convinced he was eqipped with both dick and balls, but I'm not so sure anymore seeing as he's an insecure manlet.

[-] edgemaster72@lemmy.world 7 points 3 months ago

He does, but he's very insecure about the size of that too (and probably the shape)

[-] Empricorn@feddit.nl 9 points 3 months ago

Didn't Stormy say even his dick was weird?

[-] JeeBaiChow@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago

Looked like a Mario character.

[-] morphballganon@lemmynsfw.com 6 points 3 months ago

He had to have one at some point, to have his ugly kids.

[-] peopleproblems@lemmy.world 4 points 2 months ago

He certainly doesn't have balls.

[-] Dagwood222@lemm.ee 27 points 3 months ago

[off topic]

My favorite crowd size story. Back in 2008 Obama did a tour of Germany before the Democratic convention. It was held in an open park and 200,000 Germans showed up. After he won the nomination, Obama delivered his acceptance speech at a 60,000 seat stadium.

I remember a Right news source saying that Obama was losing steam because he'd managed to get 200,000 a few weeks ago and only had 60,000 at this speech.

Stuff like this has a real 'whistling past the graveyard' quality to it.

I'm sure it's catnip to his base, but man, does it ever have the possibility of coming back to haunt him if she keeps building momentum at this rate.

[-] dudinax@programming.dev 13 points 2 months ago

When have any of his lies ever come back to haunt him?

[-] TropicalDingdong@lemmy.world 16 points 3 months ago

You know if you just stop repeating his lies, that's where it stops, right journalists?

[-] Feelfold@lemm.ee 1 points 2 months ago

Exactly! Its chicken shit reporting like this that helped him dominate the news cycle.

[-] Phegan@lemmy.world 16 points 2 months ago

Every accusation is an admission. This tells me trump is trying to use AI to make his crowds look fuller

[-] Fedizen@lemmy.world 8 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

he pays actor to fill bleachers behind him and his crowds have been leaving early for a while now. This is probably something he brainstormed himself.

If he still had two brain cells to rub together he'd realize everyone in the audience has a cell phone

[-] peopleproblems@lemmy.world 9 points 2 months ago

Uhm.

I mean I get the power of AI, but dang yo, that's a bit of a stretch.

[-] Rapidcreek@lemmy.world 9 points 3 months ago

Donald is being publicly humiliated and the crowd numbers don’t lie! Trump is losing again and again. Eighty eight days to go America to get rid of Agent Orange from our government and politics!

[-] jayknight@lemmy.ml 4 points 3 months ago

He'll lose the election, but maga won't end. He had poisoned politics in a way that won't just disappear after he loses an election and hopefully a few court cases.

[-] OlinOfTheHillPeople@lemmy.world 8 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

I hope that in response to this people will flood his social media site with videos from inside the events!

[-] redisdead@lemmy.world 3 points 3 months ago

Wouldn't be the first time they used the paid actors conspiracy

[-] hperrin@lemmy.world 8 points 3 months ago

Haha. He’s such a little bitch. Seriously, he’s got the thinnest skin of any human being ever.

[-] tinfoilhat@lemmy.ml 7 points 3 months ago

We ought to listen to him. He knows a lot about exaggerating size.

[-] kryptonianCodeMonkey@lemmy.world 5 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

He's had news media using AI to make his hands look normal size for years

[-] brown567@sh.itjust.works 4 points 3 months ago
[-] reddig33@lemmy.world 2 points 3 months ago

Projection. Again.
