They know that they're hypocrites. The love it.
I guess what I don't get that these people get is a sense of power by bending reality for the benefit of themselves, instead of a sense of power from understanding the nuances of the universe, or at least attempting to.
Learning and understanding take effort. Claiming stupidity is a virtue is simple. They are simple people. The clay of the land. You know... morons.
That scene will always, always be relevant
The source of their satisfaction comes from hurting others, rather than improving themselves.
Just like everything else, they think happiness is a zero sum game, so they have to make the others unhappy.
Ah, everything being a zero sum game, now wouldn't that be a part of the common core of both the capitalism and the fascism?
It’s a flex and a demoralization tactic, and they will continue doing it until you end them.
