blob-no

brace-dark-cowboy No private planes, no helicopters, and probably stay away from flying things in general.

Edit: These replys, chefs-kiss

I guess you don't even need to set us up the bomb in a private plane, they just naturally do that?

Maybe digital systems are harder to mess up, but the old analogue systems for altitude and the horizon could be tinkered with to give incorrect readings.

Mess with the "horizon indicator" and you might slowly fly into the ground, mess with the altimeter and there's a good chance you might crash when trying to land the plane.

do the stats on the relative per-mile safety of driving and flying include the government wanting to kill you?

Image is a screenshot of a Wikipedia entry with the text: "Since the establishment of North Korea, all three of its leaders—Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un—have been known to use high-security private trains as their preferred method of domestic and international travel. The train is officially called Taeyangho (Korean: 태양호; 'sun'), unofficially called the Moving Fortress and is likened to an Air Force One on rails."

Attention urbanists:

Image is 90s era DPRK propaganda poster with a DPRK soldier, mouth open as if shouting, with a rifle in one hand in the background, the other a clenched fist in the foreground that is smashing bricks. Text at the bottom is in Hangul and reads "펄펄 나는 일당백의 싸움군으로 준비하자!" or "Train harder, so each of us will equal one hundred of our enemies!"

Train harder, so each of us will equal one hundred of our enemies!

Interesting that the name for the train Taeyangho includes 'ho' which I'm assuming is analogous to the Chinese marker for train series 号, as in 和谐号 Harmony (Series) of high speed rail. So taeyangho isn't 'sun', it's 'sun series'. Whether or not there is one or more train in the sun series I am unsure (as in, is there a Taeyang iiho, Sun 2??? How does that numbering work) how do train names worrrrrrk?????

Yep fair. I don't listen to eurobeat but it's very solid, upbeat and memorable music for memes

I can't watch Ethan at all but this comment is gold:

talking about puns with names, here's one: Ethanic Kleinsing

You just know that's gonna get under the skin of the world's thinnest-skinned streamer too.

Mental health matters. It's actually an interesting part of Chris' stream because he goes on to explain why he hates liberals(!!)

He's always been a bit coy about his politics but hearing him stand on business really increased my estimation of him. I thought maybe he'd be a good West Asia guy but that might be the limit of it. Which is fine and all, but I was a little bit hesitant to put too much hope in him. (That probably sounds a bit cynical of me but I'm a big fan of minding your idols, as it were.)
