I guess you don't even need to set us up the bomb in a private plane, they just naturally do that?
Maybe digital systems are harder to mess up, but the old analogue systems for altitude and the horizon could be tinkered with to give incorrect readings.
Mess with the "horizon indicator" and you might slowly fly into the ground, mess with the altimeter and there's a good chance you might crash when trying to land the plane.
