Agreed. "Gay bar owned by raging CHUD who recognized that creating a space catering to a marginalized population would rake in money" is a pretty common trope.
So much of conservative values is just fetishizing naughty things and making them rare enough to be exclusive and exciting for them because they want to hoard the naughty thing for themselves.
Right, like I'm sure she doesn't see any hypocrisy in it but I can't see her base seeing it that way. But maybe they don't really give a shit either as long as she continues to be awful in other ways.

Yea but her entire personality and political career is based on her not being a lib.
That being said her entire political career is also based on being an unapologetic hypocrite and the fact that upsets libs so she'll be fine.

We are on a second level of liberalism here. We purged all the
libs over the last month, but we still have some reeducation to do. I'm seeing a lot of reddit brained comments around still and a bunch of hypocrisy gotchas. Hopefully, bullying won't be necessary anymore, but there are still people that need convincing that the reddit politics tactics have no place in the real world
