I've noticed that things have gotten so bad libs have actually switched from lesser of two evils arguments to just directly saying dems shouldn't represent progressives because progressives don't vote for them.

The 2016 primary was even more egregious than the 2020 one (and I live in one of the states that just straight up canceled the primary)

Dems have not had a "fair" primary since 2008 when they tried and failed to stop Obama beating Clinton.

Coincidentally it's also the last time they won an election without the incumbent republican president killing more than a million Americans through gross negligence and self immolating the global economy.
