Pages represent someone who is inexperienced at their suit. Swords are thought, so Page of Swords would be someone who is curious and lacking knowledge. Court cards are often other people in your life. Here this is probably your ex and the emotional role they played in your life. A reversed Queen of Cups is someone who is not in touch with their emotional state or is hiding it/pushing it down, and usually when we suppress emotions, it tends to come out sideways. In this state, their ability to engage in a relationship is restrained or damaged.
Present: Knight of Swords
The Knight of Swords is a champion of thought. I think it's easier to see yourself in this role right now. Sometimes it's hard to understand why a relationship falls apart when the communication for the reasons why is missing, and there's a lot of reasons why even the communication falls apart. You're approaching it like a puzzle, and maybe you can't find the answer because the things we feel can defy logic.
Future: Seven of Swords (reversed)
Seven of Swords is betrayal and deception. Reversed is an exposed truth. This one popped out of the deck when I was putting the deck back together, so I think the deck wanted to tell you more. Court cards (and Kings, Knights, Pages) often represent people in your life. The reversed Queen of Cards could possibly be someone in your life that is usually supportive but suddenly is selfish or withholding. This extra card could be a hint about what the reading is referencing.
This is a bit harder for me to nail down something specifically, I definitely have struggled with balance in relationships. That has definitely been a struggle for me. It feels- like there's some kind of attachment issue there. I'm not exactly sure what kind.

Eight of Swords depicts a kneeling woman. She is wearing a blindfold and wrapped in loose ropes. She is surrounded by swords. At first glance, she is a prisoner, held in place and unable to see any alternatives. But the ropes are not binding and she can remove her blindfold. Even if she feels like a captive in her situation, she has agency to change her situation. I think in terms of your questions, maybe she's saying you have to act on your agency and change the tactics you are using to find a partner.
Major Arcana Pull: Temperance (XIV) (reversed)
Since I didn't pull a major arcana first time, I kept pulling until I got one. Temperance reversed is the moderation card, urging us that it's time to seek balance in life. Reversed, you might be off your balance. Perhaps your expectations don't match your actual experience and that is causing disharmony.
