3 cards: will my ex and I ever be friends again?
Past: Queen of Cups (reversed)
Court cards are often other people in your life. Here this is probably your ex and the emotional role they played in your life. A reversed Queen of Cups is someone who is not in touch with their emotional state or is hiding it/pushing it down, and usually when we suppress emotions, it tends to come out sideways. In this state, their ability to engage in a relationship is restrained or damaged.
Present: Knight of Swords
The Knight of Swords is a champion of thought. I think it's easier to see yourself in this role right now. Sometimes it's hard to understand why a relationship falls apart when the communication for the reasons why is missing, and there's a lot of reasons why even the communication falls apart. You're approaching it like a puzzle, and maybe you can't find the answer because the things we feel can defy logic.
Future: Seven of Swords (reversed)
Seven of Swords is betrayal and deception. Reversed is an exposed truth. This isn't necessarily a negative card, for example this could mean that you will find out something that was withheld in the future, and when the truth is out some sort of forgiveness or actions can be taken to repair a relationship. Ultimately I think the card is saying there's no point trying to worrying about it, the resolution of your situation can only happen once more information comes out and there's no way to know how long that'll take.
