They're saying snakes do not have diaphragms.

Ed: it's their own alt, they could have just said that and not reveled in the drama they caused but whatever.

Access mostly relates to socioeconomic factors, but you’re largely correct. Use is notably higher in more affluent areas, but snakes are largely homeless and unsupported through reproductive legislation so that rarely matters.

The fuck are you talking about.

Can you legitimately not understand or are you just upset? I’m willing to explain the correlation between contraceptive use and economics, if it’s the former

Your dogshit diaphragm joke is a pun. Whatever that jumble of shit is would be word salad.

[–] TheTetrapod@lemmy.world 5 points 3 days ago (1 children)

He's referencing a legitimate talking point about birth control, and in that light his comment made perfect sense. The whole second half of this thread reads like you got whooshed and then double downed after you realized what happened.

[–] Madison420@lemmy.world 2 points 3 days ago (3 children)

That's neat, no one gives a shit about the shitty joke. People care that they decided to punch down on some random to set up a terrible fuckin joke and instead of being like "hey my bad I could have waited for literally anyone who got the joke to set me up instead" they decided to double down on being a condescending dickhead.

[–] littletoolshed@lemmy.world 1 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Nobody got punched down, please

[–] Madison420@lemmy.world 0 points 3 days ago

That's literally how they setup the joke, they even admit that.

[–] LwL@lemmy.world 0 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Dunno, the joke becomes obvious if you check the link, and the link being "diaphragm (birth control)" is effectively the joke indicator. The comment works as a joke all on its own, it's not a setup.

[–] Madison420@lemmy.world 1 points 3 days ago

I get the joke, the person they're being rude to didn't. Simple.

[–] reptar@lemmy.world 0 points 3 days ago (1 children)

And what are you doubling down on?

There's so many silly puns out there, your job must be exhausting!

[–] Madison420@lemmy.world 1 points 3 days ago

Not being rude to strangers for your own personal amusement.

No one cares about the pun.
