Yeah feel it out. It takes quite a bit of bite pressure to actually break skin so you have a long proverbial runway. Always good to check in and respect a red or a no or slow down!Bruises and marks come from repeated in the same spot and deep bites, you can try a little wriggling (or your partner could). Be mindful of places where it might show if that's a concern, cause if you do it right it could be days. So like, maybe not neck marks unless youre both fine with that.
In my experience, bottoms and subs are always the ones that have these hardcore desires lol and it's a little wild as a top to get into it and be thinking "holy shit this is a little more intense than I thought." Don't forget you're allowed limits too, if you're biting and they want harder and you're getting scared you're always allowed to red or slow down or whatever. You're not the bottoms fancy programmable toy and it's not just sub/bottoms that can slow or stop stuff.

Thanks for the advice. As some notes, I guess I'm the bottom in this relationship (I'm a switch, they're service top, and I do want to bottom for them when I am comfortable with that), but we both like the idea of being bit. Also, we both want publicly visible marks. Specifically neck marks. Thanks for the advice on the wriggling. Also thanks for the advice on safe words and stuff. We had pretty good communication, but making that more formal will make me even more comfortable.EDIT: Although they did mention how they are kinda into petplay from the sub side, so we might try that out.
EDIT2: To further clarify, I do want to bottom in general (not just because they want to top), but like I've mentioned I haven't been able to do much prep/training due to that hemorrhoid on my sphincter. Once I am completely recovered from the operation, I definitely want to get myself ready for it. Also, I am also into petplay from either the sub/domme side, and I think that would be a lot of fun.

Oh kink top and bottom is what I meant lol, the top is the one doing the action and the bottom is the one receiving the action - so a biting bottom would be bit. You already know people can dom or sub on either side of that anyway. It's confusing because yeah you can top or bottom regular ol sexTreat them like a pet! Tell them good dog/kitty or whatever. Make them sit waiting for you when you come back. Take them to the petstore and make then try collars they like. Clicker training is fun, and then you can break it out in public and watch them squirm about it lol

I swore we had a taking notes emoji, but can't find it.I guess what needs to be cleared up is that they enjoy petplay sub audio porn (idk if porn is the right word, but you know what I'm taking about), but I'm not sure if they want to try it out in the bedroom/elswhere.
