Xenia, the fox girl mascot of Linux, was first designed in 1996 by Alan Mackey. She was meant to be an alternative to Tux, the official mascot.
She had fallen into obscurity, but was noticed by a Twitter user in 2019 and was redrawn as a fox girl. But as it turned out, Xenia was originally meant to be male! The original creator, Alan, was cool with this, saying "It matches the transition of a lot of the smartest, nerdiest Linux users I know" and "And sure, you made her trans!".
So now we have a trans Linux mascot. And I think that's neat.

update: i spent an hour trying to play Say It Ain't So on a virtual guitar with a mouse
I wish there was a better way to play the virtual guitar, maybe a strum could be a keypress or something. I spent around 20 minutes learning the intro to Everlong, but the input delay inconsistently messes it up
This game is so fun though
yeah agree, i mean i wish it were easier to pick individual notes but that's more a skill thing. its so funny how much easier it is to just grab a real guitar lol
edit: i do wanna say though the virtual guitar is pretty good, programmign chords and then strumming with mouse is pretty intuitive and probably the least bad simple UI for this
