You make the mistake of assuming that someone makes it look nice for someone else and not themselves.

They won't.

That state somehow votes for good measures but always also votes Republicans in every time.

This has happened so many times and they keep doing it. It's honestly crazy to me.

Let's see- passed the ACA which wasn't great but did so with the bare majority they had. IRA during Biden which passed by the skin of its teeth. Of course DoJ should've done way more, etc. but that, forgiving as much student loans as Biden could, IRA was the biggest climate bill ever, etc.

Sure- it wasn't perfect but I don't think they "squandered" it at all.

But hey- it obviously wasn't enough so it was only right to not vote in LOCAL primaries, etc. and not vote in the general election for Democrats so the Republicans could take yet another wrecking ball to everything. SURELY the goals of liberals and progressives are much closer now that Republicans have power again.

Everyone here will complain no matter what the dems do, especially after not giving them power to do anything tangible.

What's awful is- I can find this news in other places using RSS. Not nearly as quick but... Who cares? Like wtf difference does it make?

Democratic voters are far more wishy washy than Republican voters. I can easily see them voting for this party.

Continents or Arrow for me.

This is so much better. Glad they did that.

Better but Meh. I'm shocked Apple thought this was a good idea. I think it's going to look dated very quickly.

Tbf, the tsp by default I believe throws your money in a G fund which is basically bonds iirc. So you'd be better off but if you never actually managed it it would've netted you far less than you think.

Still, better than not being in it. Good on you for helping others avoid the pitfalls you experienced.

Same.

That said, never heard of fedora being a cult at all. Hell I feel it gets far less recognition than it should honestly for being cutting edge and stable.

But media won't harp on this like Biden. Otherwise we'd have a million articles by now.

Go Muskies!

It's delicious fyi

Anyone else hate this? I don't want a dumbed down bar. If Im on the homepage, I want to know. Same as if I'm on a subpage.

This is in reference to Mozilla changing the URL to ALWAYS show only the domain. Absolutely terrible IMO. As for the double tall menu now? That is mostly fine.

At least give me an option to see the full url.

Unsure if this is the place to ask or not but figured it was closest to it.

Basically I am looking to make an AIO retro gaming PC. Main goal is to have one simple box hooked up to the TV so my friends and I can game without having to swap discs and consoles all the time. Would probably use mostly DS3 (or 4?) controllers hooked up with USB or via BT.

I know lemmy doesn't much care about piracy but this is all just to play games/consoles we legally own. Would include PS1-3, Nintendo, SNES, N64, Gamecube (think that is all we have).

I think https://batocera.org/ has been mentioned, Lakka (maybe this is more for pis?), and EmuDeck has been mentioned. Basically looking for the easiest distro to throw on a PC with a nice UI (can be launched via kb/mouse, all the same to me) that has the emulators built in and just needs the ROMs.

Even on an off year Xavier makes it happen.

Let's go muskies.

Basically looking for the best eggnog, German pastries, etc.

Used to buy hartzel? Eggnog but I'm not sure where it's sold anymore. Any other good places to get German holiday foods other than servatii?

Link on the bottom if you wish to try out the new VPP addon.
