I've already switched to Firefox. It makes me a little sad that I moved to chrome in the first place. Back then google seemed to care about improving the web experience and moving to open standards. Now they are so dominant, it's the opposite. Its the death of an idealistic internet.

As with everything, it also matters where it hits.

Katrina and New Orleans's levees was a big deal. Helene flooding areas many moles from the coast in high altitude areas.

There have been bigger hurricanes that do less damage and likely there will be future weaker ones that do more.

It likely resonates with many women who get spoken over by men a lot. It doesn’t matter if they are in a position of authority, or an expert, or the boss. They have a vagina, you see, so cannot really be in charge.

I don’t think it’s a great slogan and comes across as rude, rather than collaborative, but I can understand why some like it.

Yes, wishing death in people really gives you the moral high ground.

While true, it should not mean they automatically support her. That's tokenism. However, of shes got the credentials, which KH has, they would be foolish not to support her.

The BBC is a respected broadcaster in the UK that shows no ads as it is government funded. They have investments abroad that have ads showing their programs, for profit to fund more programming. It doesn't change their mission. In fact, some shows have cone from their for-profit division. You can have values and be for the people but still live on the real world.

Well, the Eurovision is doing a great job of not being political. Israel change their clearly political song. Others are booted. Double standards much?

They do, which is why distraction is so important.

The mark up on drinks, especially alcohol is where a lot of profit is. If people don’t need to drive, they probably drink more too.

When restaurants complain about a lack of parking, they really mean a lack of access. Make them accessible and they’re happy.

A lot of previous footpaths and parking spots have been repurposed as dining areas here in Sydney. I don’t think the restaurants are complaining about that and it adds vibrancy to the area that makes them more attractive too.

So, no warning, indiscriminate attacks that will, purposely harm civilians? This is awful. Hamas have already said they will execute hostages if there are unwarned attacks, so we can expect this to escalate on both sides.

It's based off existing IP, though, so not as fresh as we would like. This is more likely to lead the studio execs to think they can mine kids toys for content, rather than think writing is important.
