A knife in close quarters is insanely dangerous. Using guns against an attacker with a knife is not really an escalation.

That said, the situation should never have escalated to the point where there is someone attacking with a knife.

I recently listened to a podcast about food prevention, and one mayor went on record saying they don't want to build floodplains to alleviate flooding issues downriver because the last flood originated somewhere else.

This is also the reason why failed experiments hardly ever get published: "We tried X to achieve Y but it did not work because of Z" is very useful information for people also thinking about trying X, but good luck publishing that paper.

Wir brauchen einfach die Kei Car Regelungen aus Japan. Günstigere Steuern und Anwohnerparkausweise (deren Normalpreis zum Ausgleich gerne hoch kann) für Autos unter 3,60m/1,55m.

The sound quality is definitely worse than similarly priced regular headphones or earbuds.

But having the ears completely free make them a great option for cycling or running, where keeping track of your surroundings is literally kind of vital.

over thirty-one thousand landlord clients managing over 19.7 million rental units

In case anyone is still wondering why housing is fucked, this is it right here. That's an average of over 600 rental units per landlord.

People renting out their old house for a small profit are not the issue. Like a lot of things, it really only breaks once corporations get involved.

Any DM can tell you that the D&D 5e rules are outright terrible in some major aspects, like magic item classification (go look at every "major rare" magic item and see how v wildly different they are in terms is vusefulness) or monster abilities (mostly just removing spellcasting for no reason).

So it's no wonder that seasoned DMs homebrew (or use/adapt other DMs' homebrew).

On Windows, you can open the emoji picker with Win+. or Win+, (depending on locale iirc). Then just switch to the symbols tab by clicking the omega symbol and chose å

Alternatively, you can install PowerToys, which includes a quick accentuator tool.

I recently had an important package get rerouted to a pickup box, but the incompetent driver (who did not even manage to reply "hello package" on the intercom) forgot to leave the retrieval card in my mailbox.

After searching the DHL website for a contwct option for way longer than it should take, I saw a small note stating that their chatbot can give you retrieval codes, so I decided to try that.

It was not AI powered, but provided prompts to click, or asked for very specific short replies like the tracking number. Similar to an automated phone system but with text. I took a wrong turn at some point and had to start over, but it actually worked really well and I got the code after about 3 minutes.
