How can you be pro-Turkey and pro-Armenia at the same time? I'm not even talking about Armenian genocide but Azerbaijan and Turkey are extremely close allies.

"Anarcho-nihilist" sounds like one of those reddit political ideologies. What even is that? "We should abolish the state, but it doesn't matter if we do or not, really."

[–] Great_Leader_Is_Dead@hexbear.net 17 points 2 years ago

I think it just means "post-leftism" these days

[–] Erika3sis@hexbear.net 11 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Kaneko Fumiko was an anarcho-nihilist, wasn't she?

[–] DamarcusArt@lemmygrad.ml 15 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Anarchist and nihilist I think, political and personal philosophies. Though maybe she believed in one unified philosophy?

If this twitter person takes aim at the chrysanthemum throne though, I'm not going to complain.

[–] Erika3sis@hexbear.net 9 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Yeah, that's a point, I just don't see how one could separate political and personal philosophies like that.

if this twitter person takes aim at the chrysanthemum throne though, I'm not going to complain

the-doohickey inshallah inshallah inshallah japan-cool

[–] DamarcusArt@lemmygrad.ml 13 points 2 years ago

One would definitely influence the other, but I would say a personal philosophy is something a person recognises as right for them personally, while a political philosophy would be one that benefits the world.

Kaneko Fumiko was an anarcho-nihilist

Yeah until she unlocked her bankai in the leaf village arc (I don't know, I don't watch one piece)

Honestly, this makes a lot more sense than people give credit to:

  1. She's a Turkish Israeli, so that explains pro Israel/Turkey and anti Palestine/Kurdistan.

  2. Being pro Russia makes sense since Russia is mostly friendly with Turkey and until recently pretty friendly with Israel. This would also explain being anti Ukraine. She could also just sympathize with people in the Donbass.

  3. Being pro Armenia doesn't make that much sense until you realize people in Turkey don't necessarily hate Armenians on a personal level even as they deny the Armenian Genocide. Also, there's a wide perception that Armenia is a pro-Russia country (it's not especially given the borderline treacherous actions of their Western boot-licking PM).

  4. Being anti Azerbaijan is just her not liking Azerbaijan invading and ethnically cleansing Artsakh. There's a geopolitical dimension to it that doesn't make that much sense (Azerbaijan being a Turkish proxy state), but she could just be someone who supports Turkey on a cultural level rather than a geopolitical level.

  5. Being pro Alaska is just her believing Alaska should belong to Russia.

  6. Being anti Joe Biden just means she has at least two brain cells.

Overall, this is an entirely coherent set of pro-/anti- during the war between Azerbaijan and Armenia in 2020. In the 3 and a half years since, it needs some updating, but the general gist still makes sense.

[–] Cromalin@hexbear.net 25 points 2 years ago

lmao, pro israel anti joe biden, recovering former fascist, solidarity with israel donbass and alaska. legitimately incredible bit

[–] DanComrd@hexbear.net 24 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Real fedposting hours. I hope they get plenty of recovery time at their nice office with the other feds

[–] ashinadash@hexbear.net 21 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Part of me thinks, no fucking way feds would be this eccentric and creative.

Another part of me needs to believe it's fedposting to save my sanity

[–] Great_Leader_Is_Dead@hexbear.net 11 points 2 years ago (1 children)

With shit like this I don't think it's "the feds" directly, whoever is running this account doesn't have an office at the J Edgar Hoover building. They probably contract people via some shady private entity that recruits already existing internet trolls to adjust their bits to me more political in nature. This weirdo probably is just some channer who gets Venmoed like 200 a month for this.

Now that's what I call luksusmening

Anyways re: simultaneous pro-Turkey and pro-Armenia, that's probably due to binationality, probably something like pro-Turkey in some things and pro-Armenia in others

[–] wtypstanaccount04@hexbear.net 16 points 2 years ago

This is your basic 4chan fascist in "disguise".

[–] aaaaaaadjsf@hexbear.net 13 points 2 years ago

Surely, this is a bit.......

[–] ashinadash@hexbear.net 12 points 2 years ago

Don't worry.... I think we can fix her, y'all! cat-confused

[–] D61@hexbear.net 10 points 2 years ago (2 children)

There's a movie from the ... late 90's I think called "The Mummy". It starred Brendan Fraiser at the height of his career and fame.

There's a character that's a fixer, sidekick for Brendan's character. In a scene where he's seperated from the group and fleeing a certain death by supernatural causes he stops and starts pulling out medallions of every religion, kissing them and saying various prayers.

This Twitter bio has that same vibe.
