I believe the first half of this story

[–] smh@slrpnk.net 5 points 1 day ago

I got stuck on there being a correlation between class and color worn. If accurate, my best guess is a correlation between Laundry Day and Geography Class. That is, she ran out of undies she liked by that day of week, so dipped into her disfavored clothes stash.

[–] vaultdweller013@sh.itjust.works 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Meanwhile I got the nickname Kraut because I gassed myself at home cleaning the bathroom and just kinda kept going with a makeshift gas mask. My friends were over at the time and witnessed me throw together a whole getup because I was not dealing with that shit later.

[–] resipsaloquitur@lemmy.cafe 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Yeah. Though not intentionally, apparently the bleach left a bit of residue in the bucket I was using so when I put the other cleaning product in for a different thing it had ammonia and I got gassed.

[–] MasutaHarada@thelemmy.club 3 points 1 day ago

Bet the clothes is just excuse and the one who wear it can't hide whatever personality they radiate, thus rejection.

[–] resipsaloquitur@lemmy.cafe 2 points 1 day ago

I thought black meant horny.

[–] Zephyr@sh.itjust.works 43 points 2 days ago (2 children)

OP learned that day the difference between correlation and causation.

[–] echodot@feddit.uk 2 points 21 hours ago

It actually sounds to me like they didn't learn anything

[–] UnequalExchange@lemmy.world 6 points 2 days ago (1 children)

OP learned that day that you dedinitely should not be spying on a person's panties lol ewww wtf?!

[–] Zephyr@sh.itjust.works 19 points 2 days ago

Sounds like her panties were public knowledge but generally yeah don't be gooning that hard.

[–] CultLeader4Hire@lemmy.world 81 points 2 days ago (3 children)

Extrapolating hobbies and sexual turn ons from spying on someone’s underwear is indeed pretty creepy

[–] qarbone@lemmy.world 16 points 2 days ago* (last edited 12 hours ago) (1 children)

I don't understand how you propose fixes for cases like this. Like the thought-process is so alien, I don't even know where to start fixing these people, except to head back to toddler instructions on personal space and communication.

[–] Whats_your_reasoning@lemmy.world 29 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Middle and high school are full of stupid misconceptions about girls. In my middle school, people believed that if you wore black panties, it meant you're DTF. The boys also thought that if a girl's nipples were hard, it meant she was turned on. No amount of saying, "Bruh, it's just winter," or asking why boys' nipples don't get hard when they're horny, would change their minds.

It all really boils down to - some boys will grasp at anything to confirm their belief that a girl is interested in sex.

[–] Ozymati@lemmy.nz 12 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Black panties mean she's discovered that her period won't stain them

[–] Axolotl_cpp@feddit.it 2 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

Girls can be more horny before or after the bleeding due to hormones (IIRC, i am not that sure but i def read about it more than one time, can someone confirm?) so maybe the misconception started from that fact

[–] Gonzako@lemmy.world 8 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Yeah but isn't like this exact thing what big tech is doing?

[–] JustEnoughDucks@feddit.nl 6 points 1 day ago

That's because all the big tech CEOs are all exactly like the green text OP.

Anon wasn't a creep because of the landscape shirt. Anon was a creep who wore a landscape shirt.

[–] panda_abyss@lemmy.ca 186 points 3 days ago (3 children)

I can’t tell if this is real, but I can’t fathom how you could make it up

[–] BodilessGaze@sh.itjust.works 84 points 3 days ago

"it must be true because, if it were not true, no one would have had the imagination to invent it” - fancy math man

[–] DrunkenDuckling@lemmus.org 57 points 2 days ago (5 children)

"Creepy landscape boy" feels made up. Children are way more imaginative, especially when it comes to derogatory nicknames.

No "Horny Hill Henry", "Masturbatin' mountain mike", "Lickin' Lakes Liam", ....?

One thing i can vouch for. During HS in early 2000's, girls would wear thongs and low waist jeans exposing their junk when leaning forward. Sounds good on paper but when youre not rly interested in them and forced to see it its meh.

[–] Hardeehar@lemmy.world 17 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (2 children)

There were two young English teachers who came in my senior year who wore whale tails almost every day of the week. They were the source of many controversial arguments. Regardless, I overheard that they matched on a bonus at the end of the year because their courses had the best attendance record.

[–] LouNeko@lemmy.world 60 points 2 days ago

OP was not allowed to teach at the school again.

[–] billwashere@lemmy.world 40 points 2 days ago (9 children)

Moral of the story: be yourself not something you think somebody wants.

I learned that lesson a long time ago.

[–] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

be yourself

Maybe don't be a guy who catalogues his classmates' underwear colors.

[–] billwashere@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

yeah… and that….

Op on the tism

[–] Pringles@sopuli.xyz 29 points 2 days ago (3 children)

I respect that. He had a theory and tested it out. It was wildly wrong (and yes, I know it’s most likely fake), but at least he went and tried.
