Anybody else got a Déja-Vu? I remember some months ago some person describing these kind of symptoms and all the comments told OP that's bs. Then OP said they did all tests and everybody was wrong. I was here before!
I got a déjà-vu from last week. Same person I think, but I'm not a 100% certain since they deleted their old posts. They've already been told extensively that this is not age related.
At this point I'm thinking dementia or some other neurological issues.
This just seems like good old cognitive dissonance to me. This article calls this specific kind of cognitive dissonance"belief perseverance", which seems very apt: https://philosophy.institute/epistemology/addressing-unjustified-beliefs/
*A reasonable question arises: if unjustified beliefs are so clearly at odds with the evidence, why don’t people simply change their minds when confronted with facts? The answer lies in understanding that rational belief revision is not merely a matter of receiving new information. It requires that the evidence be recognized as relevant, assessed without distortion, and allowed to actually alter the existing belief structure – each of which is complicated by the mechanisms described above.
Confirmation bias means that contradictory evidence may not even be registered at full strength. The availability heuristic means that striking supporting examples continue to feel more representative than they are. And the psychological costs of belief revision – the discomfort of cognitive dissonance, the threat to identity – create a strong motivational force pushing back against change.*
The entire article is well worth a read imo.
get checked for a UTI STAT. that is not aging.
I'm well past that age and im not experiencing even half of what you listed there. go see a doctor. like now.
Have you seen a psychologist? Might also be somatizing of mental issues. Some symptoms there are symptoms of mental illness. How's your general lifestyle and diet?
Not that I'm taking this thread very seriously based on the other comments.. but other than seeing a doctor, have you tried the obvious things? The things you are describing are not a 30 year old thing. You are way too young to attiribute all of those things to age.
- Exercise (very important). Get your steps in. Get a watch or something and count em.
- Eat a proper, balanced diet. Don't calorie load before bed, eat throughout the day.
- Go to bed at a decent hour, whatever that is for you. Make sure you are getting at least 8 hours. Women typically need a little more.
I've known a few people that have all your symptoms, and the common denominator is that they are all extremely sedentary and take 0 accountability for their own health. They somehow expect a doctor to fix a problem only they can solve with the things I mentioned above.
If you've been seeing a doctor for years and aren't doing any of the things I've mentioned, you are wasting your time.
Just to add: half of those symptoms sounds like a seasoned alcoholic.
You've already made a similar post and people have told you to go see a doctor. What more do you want?
I’m about to turn 40, no one I know has experienced this at 30, much less 40. You have something else going on, this isn’t aging, like we have all told you before.
You really need to get checked out.
Do you live alone? Do you have a carbon monoxide alarm? If not you should get one.
FYI, this person has posted this same question over and over, and hasn't seemed to absorb any of the answers.
Girl...I don't know what to tell you other than I have bad news for you. I have narcolepsy and this is my every day. This is definitely an undiagnosed medical condition for you.
Maybe do a sleep study. Lots of undiagnosed sleep apnea around this age. It gets worse over time. Even if you don’t snore.
edit: feeling déjà vu. Did i recommend this to you before? Either way, most of this is definitely not normal or age related.
They’ve posted this many times and each time insists this is normal for any woman over 30.
These are not symptoms of age, they're indicators that something is not ok in your body.
Have you ever tried digital detox?
You keep posting this and everyone keeps saying it's not normal. It is a big deal. I'm over 30 and I kayak, hike, have infinite hobbies and still take courses in my spare time on everything from writing to chemistry to french. My friends are the same.
Find another doctor, and if that one doesn't solve it, find another doctor, and stop posting this. It's shitty to assume women are supposed to fall apart after thirty.
I'm a woman in my mid 30s. I work 48 hours a week, attend school in person, train jiu jitsu, and deal with all the normal life shit that comes with living alone and having to keep my home clean and my cats and I alive and fed. I also do all that while suffering from migraines and having ADHD.
Am I tired? Fucking yes. Am I managing? Also yes.
My life is so much better in my 30s than in my 20s. If any young woman is out there reading this, your 30s is not the threshold to decrepit haghood, it is fine.
Also, I don't drink energy drinks, or consume large amounts of caffeine. I also don't drink alcohol. I just eat moderately healthy, stay away from most fast food, and try to exercise every day, even if it's just going for a 30 minute walk because I'm too tired or too busy to do anything else.
Oh it's you again
