1) Be nice and; have fun
Doxxing, trolling, sealioning, racism, toxicity and dog-whistling are not welcomed in AskLemmy. Remember what your mother said: if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. In addition, the site-wide Lemmy.world terms of service also apply here. Please familiarize yourself with them

This is sort of like Jeopardy. Please phrase all post titles in the form of a proper question ending with ?
3) No spam
Please do not flood the community with nonsense. Actual suspected spammers will be banned on site. No astroturfing.
4) NSFW is okay, within reason
Just remember to tag posts with either a content warning or a [NSFW] tag. Overtly sexual posts are not allowed, please direct them to either !asklemmyafterdark@lemmy.world or !asklemmynsfw@lemmynsfw.com.
NSFW comments should be restricted to posts tagged [NSFW].
5) This is not a support community.
It is not a place for 'how do I?', type questions.
If you have any questions regarding the site itself or would like to report a community, please direct them to Lemmy.world Support or email info@lemmy.world. For other questions check our partnered communities list, or use the search function.
6) No US Politics.
Please don't post about current US Politics. If you need to do this, try !politicaldiscussion@lemmy.world or !uspolitics@lemmy.world
7) No Hit-and-Run questions.
Please don't delete your post for no apparent reason. If you plan on deleting a question later, say so in the post, or if you feel that you have a good reason to remove it, message a mod beforehand. It's not fair to the ones who took their time to answer, and it's not in the spirit of the community.

You keep posting this and everyone keeps saying it's not normal. It is a big deal. I'm over 30 and I kayak, hike, have infinite hobbies and still take courses in my spare time on everything from writing to chemistry to french. My friends are the same.
Find another doctor, and if that one doesn't solve it, find another doctor, and stop posting this. It's shitty to assume women are supposed to fall apart after thirty.
I'm a woman in my mid 30s. I work 48 hours a week, attend school in person, train jiu jitsu, and deal with all the normal life shit that comes with living alone and having to keep my home clean and my cats and I alive and fed. I also do all that while suffering from migraines and having ADHD.
Am I tired? Fucking yes. Am I managing? Also yes.
My life is so much better in my 30s than in my 20s. If any young woman is out there reading this, your 30s is not the threshold to decrepit haghood, it is fine.
Also, I don't drink energy drinks, or consume large amounts of caffeine. I also don't drink alcohol. I just eat moderately healthy, stay away from most fast food, and try to exercise every day, even if it's just going for a 30 minute walk because I'm too tired or too busy to do anything else.
Same! One cup of coffee in the morning is more a routine than a need, and I barely touch alcohol unless it's a special occasion. I cook 99% of my own food from fresh ingredients and go for daily walks.
My thirties are awesome, I spent most of my twenties with undiagnosed crippling pain and ADHD. Now I'm on the right meds and feel great.
My 20s were spent in a horrible relationship that was like a frog in boiling water. I didn't realize how terrible I was being treated until I got out of it and I'm still dealing with the fallout and the trauma, but I'm fucking free! And in the midst of all that I had undiagnosed endometriosis that the doctors kept dismissing and I also had undiagnosed ADHD.
In my 30s I got out of that relationship, got diagnosed with ADHD, and found a doctor who took my endo symptoms seriously and did surgery (all the best things in the world to her, she saved my sanity and my life).
My 30s are not easy, but my 20s were a cage and my 30s is doing what I want and feeling healthier doing it!
Man, I feel the same way. I didn't self advocate and didn't have the self respect to find good partners through my 20's. Now I'm loud as fuck and healthier for it.
I'm glad you're doing better. Sometimes we gotta shovel shit before we reap the fruit.
Reading this with chronic illness rn. Can we trade😭 I wish I had this much energy ever.
For your energy levels, do you drink energy drinks? Caffeine makes me feel nauseous, so for me, they're off the table.
And I've had several doctors do bloodwork, and everything's come back normal. My white blood cells were a bit low, but they've been like that for at least a year. I was told it's normal though, because as you age your immune system does decline.
Doctors are idiots. I have no idea how many I've gone through by now to get my diagnoses. There have been whole studies on how doctors are more dismissive of women as well.
I don't do anything for my energy levels except eat healthy, normal food. One thing I do notice is the more I work out, the more I want to work out over time. If I don't start my day with some kind of activity or go for a walk at some point, I'm less active and cognizant later in the evening.
How long does it take for you to get out of that feeling of coming to after general anesthesia when you wake up?
Are you trolling now? Why do you phrase your questions like this applies to everyone when people keep telling you it's not normal?
I wake up naturally at 6-7am, happy and healthy.
Attention seeking behavior. They need to switch doctors, maybe get a FNP since they're more informed, assuming this is a real issue and not made up for attention.
It is normal. The several doctors I've seen have told me it's normal and my own family have told me I need to stop complaining about my health and to get on with it.
Can you understand people are stupid? I have narcolepsy and feel exactly like you do. My parents still think I'm just depressed and will eventually get over it. I've had multiple neurologists see my symptoms and think the best thing to do is nothing. My current neurologist (I'm on my 3rd) finally gave me an EEG and MRI for possible stroke and seizures. Doctors will look at you and just see a young woman and think it is impossible for you to have any health issues. You have to fight to get care. You can't resign yourself to this life.
They assume you are exaggerating and/or are dismissing you because they don’t know how to help you
