The Milky Way galaxy is estimated to have 400 billion stars.
Elon Musk would have enough money to give at least 2$ to each star system in the galaxy.
Fuck Elon Musk.
$2 to each star in the galaxy, and still have enough left over to be ludicrously rich, and have more than anyone could reasonably spend in multiple lifetimes.

Imagine, you go to quit your job cuz you think our galaxy looks like a rug but your boss explains to you that that is a whole different galaxy and ours doesn't look like that. You start crying and your boss says to you, "There there, don't cry over spilled milk."
Might want to hoover that up.
Pretty sure that's just an old linoleum tile or faux granite counter with reflections of the overhead light rather than a rug.

Those yellow things are all stars? I thought they are more sparse
We’re looking at vast distances, and there’s no depth perception here. Like seeing constellations, those stars that look clustered up are actually much farther apart than you realize, but you can’t tell the distance just by looking at it
Unfortunately travel and windsurf sails aren't free
All these stars out there and we'll never visit them; all this universe out there and we'll never explore it
I've just gotta assume there's plenty of other sentient shit out there experiencing the wonders and horrors of the universe as well.
Tbf, I'd much rather visit the planets and/or moons around the stars than going anywhere near the stars themselves 😛
I'll say it's more like a bus seat.
